Beautiful and NEW!
Pool was closed/empty (Feb 2015) but they were nice enough to make the neighboring hotel available to anyone who really wanted to use one! Just a short, chilly walk over to it :)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Staff was very accommodating -- we actually left after only one night because the hotel had construction that we were not told about. But the staff was very professional about our concerns.
Construction ongoing that we were not informed of at booking.
Nice breakfast. Very friendly staff. Room good.
This was a great value. The whole place is pretty new. The breakfast was hot, fresh and had good enough variety. The room had a mini-refrig for storing food and drink. The TV was a newer HD flat screen. Nearly everything was better than good.
The near deal-breaker was the toilet seat (really). I am only 5'6' and it was nearly too small/short for me. The building's HVAC system also was a little noisy in our room.
In the bathrooms the grout was missing so it looks dirty but it wasn't dirt just missing grout.
Good rate, clean and comfortable.
Was booked into a handicap room which was not required or requested, when asked if I could change advised no.
Clean & modern
We arrived at 2PM and asked if our room was availble; understandably, not. Came back at 3:30 to check in and the room wasn't ready. Waited with the family in the lobby for 25 minutes before I had to ask again. Only then, did he call to ask.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. They were doing some kind of construction, but we didn't notice it, there were signs up though. The free breakfast was good and the attendant did a great job of keeping everything fresh, hot and stocked. Overall we had a great experience.
You can't go wrong with Holiday In Express. They have the all white bedding that let's you know your sheets and comforter are truly clean...no hiding dirt or stains on them! And their breakfast takes the 'complimentary' breakfast to new heights. Plenty to choose from and available for a decent length of time. Warm cookies in the evening is a nice touch as well.
Great value for the very low price. Simple and basic hotel, but, very clean and includes free breakfast. 3 minute drive from downtown core.
Beds were a bit soft. Only one rest-rant within walking distance and they closed to early.......................................................................................
Great breakfast, great staff and nice, clean rooms!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Had a good stay. I was sorry that they pool was down for maintainance, but the room was clean, and had a microwave and refrig. if needed. The beds had two difference kinds of pillows to choose from (firm or soft). The breakfast was great.
I was comfy.. The staff was warm and friendly. I enjoyed the queit and peacefullness of the hotel.
Hotel was okay - we had an executive suite w/ 2 Queens, mini-fridge & microwave. The pool was small and crowded. My fiance ended up with a sore back from the bed. But our boys slept fine - although one did fall off the bed =) They offer a continental breakfast (closes at 9:30am) and warm cookies at night. The hotel staff was busy flirting with her friends at time of check in so I am pretty sure that is why we had problems. We were double-billed by the hotel for our room even though we advised them TWICE we had already prepaid thru a online travel website and I signed a reservation contract showing a $0 per night room charge. When I called the hotel to resolve, they waited a week to process (still not resolved) because their manager wasn't in - without notification to me. I don't think I would stay at this hotel again. There are plenty of other comparably priced hotels in the area with much better service.
