nothing dirty nasty no appliances there is no way this can be called a convention center
everythingI would not recommend this hotel to any one
The room was very clean and the staff super friendly!
The location seemed a bit shady.I was pleasnatly suprised by the cleanliness of the room. When we first arrived the heater in our room was not working so we notified housekeeping and maintenance came immediately and fixed it.
The location...the walk between the motel and the metro was in the market area and a bit solitary so it might have been dangerous to walk in at night, but during the day it was okay and not too far from the red line metro (NoMa Gallaudet U/New York Ave).
The night guard was rude staring my friend and I down & finally yelling at us to STAY or LEAVE! because we stayed in the car talking and didn't immediately go into the room. The parking lot is small & we knew he was there-why would we do something wrong? The location is good though a bit solitary so probably not safe to walk alone at night. The metro station is on the red line so it's great for getting to the main attractions. It's a motel so the room and service is what you would expect...average or a bit below average but for the price you won't get much better. We stayed only one night and maybe could have managed a couple more but I would have gotten a better place if I planned on staying longe...
The price was a little steep, but considering the location and the fact that I was in Washington DC during the Presidential Inauguration, this was actually the lowest price I could find. The 6 Motel was located walking distance to the New York Avenue Met
The room smelled like it was once a smoking room, but otherwise was clean and well kept.I highly recommend this motel for anyone traveling to DC on a budget and wanting to stay near the metro Red Line. I rate the 6 Motel a 10 on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest for its great location, friendly staff and lowest price on Priceline.
affordable, but that's it!
isolated location in an industrial warehouse districtPretty awful. Mostly, I was scared walking through isolated industrial warehouse streets from the Metro to the hotel. I would never do that again. Fear ruins whatever savings you originally felt good about at the time of booking.
