had a wonderful time staying at your hotel. would/will stay here again
This hotel has a welcoming staff and they respond quickly to calls and inquiries. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The cleaning staff is unbelievable. You have everything you need in the room.
I enjoyed my stay at The Holiday Inn for many reasons, it was very conveniently located, the room was sizeable and clean, and the people friendly enough. Located right near I95 and two major roads that will take you either into downtown WPB or to attractions out west, I had no issues getting around. I am a light sleeper and always wear earlplugs, but the Hotel wasn't too noisy. The room was clean and comfy. The only issue I had was with a very small 'office center' where the printer didn't work. This was a bummer because I was in town job seeking and needed the service. Also, there is only one computer so if someone is on it, you have to wait around. They had a smaller but sufficient gym and an outside pool that I didn't use. If I did not find a job and move here, I would stay at The Holiday Inn again for sure upon a return visit!
Customer service was excellent, responded quickly and efficiently ,
I recently stayed at this hotel thinking we would be very satisfied. However, our experience was quite the opposite. On-line it said that it was located near the beach and close to major attractions, which sounded tempting...but in reality our view was of a noisy train track and busy highway. To make a long story, in the middle of the night I got up to turn the thermostat down and the entire AC cover came down and was impossible to put back....even tried in the morning. Then, in the morning there was a large dead cocharoach that we told staff to please dispose of found in the hallway that hours later we had to walk by again, nothing was done. Then, we saw flying insects at the breakfast buffet near the food. Need I say more.... Never again, will I stay there.
NO complaints would recommend to any one looking for affordable comfort.
Close to the beach and airport. Clean rooms, facilities and pool. Pool area a bit small but overall very nice. Near major highways. Inside restaurant and bar very convenient. Usually very affordable.
This hotel was reasonably priced and close to many fun attractions in West Palm Beach. Unfortunately, it seemed like every person there was there to party, smoke, yell, sing, and curse. This was an awful place to try to sleep because people were yelling, screaming, and singing throughout the night and the management seemed afraid to really interfere. There was food on the floor of the hallway and staircases and the pool was falsely advertised; it looks nothing like it does in the photos. The breakfast was definitely not free.
I stayed here for 5 days both for two different stays, the overall service is ok and the hotel is clean but there was two days where i went out in the morning cake back in the afternoon and the room wasn't cleaned, I had to call the front desk and request cleaning service. The only other bad thing I fan recall is that the hot water was never hot or even warm, the best it got was room temp. Other than that I had a pleasnt stay and my sleeps were ok, the wakeup calls were always on time so that was good. Plus it's really close to the airport so that was very convenient.
After reading the reviews, we booked a trip for our daughter and niece. We have used web for many trips and have had pretty good luck. However, we are shocked by the state of the room versus the picture of the room on web. The room is dirty and stained. We tried to get web to help us move the girls to a different hotel or upgrade to a different room - but they were only able to talk to the front desk clerk - not a manager - and she said too bad. It was booked through web on-line and they won't do a thing. web did tell us that the front desk clerk was nice on the phone.......
I visited West Palm Beach briefly because of a death in the family. They apparently have recently refinished this hotel. They forgot to update the rooms, which are very old.The bed was only full size instead of the customary queen..good thing my husband and I always sleep so close together. The air conditioning was very loud..I had a difficult time slleeping @ night because of the noise.
Just came back from a three night stay in this hotel. The staff and everyone at this hotel could not have been better, the only problem I saw was with the business center. It was in bad need of an upgrade. I had trouble trying to print my broading and bag passes and the young lady took me into the offices to get these done. Everything was first class I will return !
The Holiday Inn Conference Centre was overall a good place to stay. Very conveniently located to I95 and 1 1/2 miles to downtown. The rooms were clean and nice. My room was a non-smoking room but smoke from adjacent room came through the vents. The noise from the hallways was significant (though admittedly I am sensitive to this), and the doors slammed loudly everytime. Front desk was courteous and helpful, gym was adequate (4 machines), didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. The business center, however was a joke--one computer with weak internet access that didn't always connect, a broken printer and nothing else, so bring your laptop!! Area seemed safe. Ask for the intracoastal view otherwise you will be looking at a maze of highways. Oh, and a very comfortable bed with lots of pillows, and shower pressure was good--massaging head too!
I combined the room with my flight and I didnt pay near as much as the rooms were priced regularly. It is a quot3 starquot hotel but when I walked in I realized it was definitely closer to a 4 star! The shuttle was waiting at the airport to pick me up they helped me with my bags and I was at the hotel in 3 minutes flat. They allowed an early check in #4011am#41 even though they told me they were booked full the night before when I called. If you arrive early and they dont have a room ready they have a luggage room to store your bags in until they get one clean. Although not advertised they will give you a FREE ride within a 5 mile radius and thats far enough to take you to the city plaza #40which is an amazing outside mall/entertainment center#41 amoung plenty of other places. They have the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on with both a quotsoftquot and quotfirmquot pillow selection laid out. I had a flat screen TV and a nice desk to do my paperwork as well as a newspaper at my door in the morning. Staff was fairly friendly. I cant review the restaurant...I didnt make it bc they gave me a complimentary ride to BBKings to eat. yes a ride to a competeing restaurant for free. I would definitely go back and I recomend it to everyone!
We stayed last Friday night at the Holiday Inn, West Palm Beach. I stayed there before so I chose it again this trip. I will not stay there in the future. Even though it was pretty clean we had to move to a new room due to a leaking toilet, and in the morning they had not left me the cups to make coffee so I went down to the desk and the young woman said that I needed to go to the resturant to get coffee, so I had to pay $2 for a to go cup of coffee. I know that it is petty but it annoyed me. After I booked the trip I saw on Hotwire that I could have gotten a better room at either the Crown Plaza or Hilton for ten dollars cheaper. I go to that area several times a year for a weekend and I will be checking with them first.
This is not the correct picture of the hotel. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel is very convenient to the airport. We would stay there again. Breakfast service was poor - it seemed that the hotel was very low on staffing.
the hotel was smelly . the staff was slow and very rude . but for being by a interstate the room was very quiet
My sister and I were bitten by bugs found in the room that took 3 weeks to get over. Beware! Save yourself the misery!
very clean, beds are nice and conmfortable. The price may have been reasonable due to construction, but I did not hear any.
