Room was clean and property was nice. Prices for meals in resturant were very high, but everything in West Yellowstone, MT was overpriced. Holiday Inn is very convenient for visting Yellowstone National Park.
This was one of the best hotels we've stayed in. We got one of the king rooms with hot tub and loved it. We will be staying there many more times.
We really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was huge and everything was sparkling clean and looked new. Maintenance was excellent. I wish it offered a free breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay in West Yellowstone. I was happy with the Holiday in because I was looking for a two bedroom suite and this was very nice. It was a little bit expensive and didn't include breakfast but would definitely stay there again.
When I booked this hotel I was a bit hesitant on how it would be but all my fears were quickly reversed! Great staff, clean lobby, amazingly clean bathrooms, Eco-water fill (near restaurant you can refill your water bottles with purified water which was very nice) quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Everything I was hoping for and then some. Only downsides, at least to us and this is probably due to the fact that we live in vegas and are used to a 24 hour town, the breakfast does not start until 7 which is late to us. We went into the park at 6:15am and wanted breakfast before but no chance. Make sure you know when you are going places if you pay the extra for the breakfast tickets. We ended up wasting 2 for this reason. The second morning we did get breakfast and used the coupons but we did have a couple issues. The waiter told us his life story and how he was not a morning person and would probably screw up our order, well he did. This annoyed us, he also told us some of the issues with the hotel/restaurant which we did not want to hear or deal with. Was he having a bad day, yes, he was also hung over or at least smelled of booze which was not pleasant. It seems the hotel/restaurant likes to hire people from all over as we did not meet a local person there, which seemed a bit odd to us. The food was amazing and our server on the first night Michael was awesome!! We asked him several questions about the area and while he freely said he was not form the area he did go out of his way to find the answers for us and was extremely prompt taking our order and making sure we were taken care of. The rooms are very nice, clean and the best part, to me, the sink is in the main area versus inside the bathroom which makes getting ready easier, at least for my wife and I. Distance to the gate for the park is literally just down the street along with the Bear and Wolf reserve. When we come back we will only stay at this hotel! Amazing time and some of the best sleep I have gotten in ...
Great location, close to everything. Very nice hotel, rooms were clean and staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel and I am very picky.
We loved this place. It was very convenient to the park and could walk anyplace in West Yellowstone. Room was larger than normal hotel rooms and very pretty and clean. I would definately stay there again.
Expensive, out dated rooms in needs of renovation. Noisy, with thin walls. You can hear all conversations from your neighbors. Had to get up twice to report a noisy neighbor above me. The staff finally did something on the second request. In fairness, the hotel management refunded one nights stay as compensation. Will not stay there again.
We were in town visiting our son and wanted more than a hotel room. We were gladly surprised when we arrived as the room was very clean and spacious with an in room refrigerator and separate sitting area. It is located within walking distance of Main Street, West Yellowstone as well as the entrance to West Yellowstone. We will definately stay here again.
Staff friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well kept. Location was right outside West Yellowstone National park entrance. Plenty of restaurants nearby and inside hotel.
This is the best of the lot in West Yellowstone. Good restaurant, heated pool, laundry room, nice bar, gambling. You are going to overpay to stay in this town, but it is a fantastic location if you can't stay in the park. The breakfast (not complementary) quality was very good and the bar has an absolutely fantastic selection of local microbrews if you like that sort of thing. HD TV in the room was an added plus. The place was undergoing major renovation when we stayed so it will likely be nicer afterward. The staff was kind enough to ship our daughter's beloved stuffed cow back to us in Texas after she forgot it. We used everything there with no problem: the bar, the restaurant, the laundry room, the pool. I recommend with the understanding that it's more expensive than a Holiday Inn ought to be. Quibbles: beds a tad small; internet in business center was slow.
The rooms were older but seemed fine except for a noisy air conditioner. However, the service at the resturant was lacking and the food was poor especially for the price. Our waitress did not have any patience for children. Other than that, we enjoyed Yellowstone alot, very beautiful and fasinating.
You would get better service living in a tent in the woods than this place. The staff is terrible and I will never return here.
Dinky suite they gave us did not match the spacious online image. Restaurant would not seat us until 9:00 pm because the kitchen 'got behind.' Walls are incredibly thin--we could hear every step of the people in the room above us. Remotes did not work for TV. TV reception was bad. Bathroom was tiny. Beds were lumpy, as were pillows. Very disappointing, esp. for the price.
