The location was very convenient. Hotel was understaffed, but the front desk attendant was very helpful.
The hotel lacked bare necessities, the heat did not work in the 1st room I stayed in, also the shower did not heat well. The 2nd room we moved too had a fire alarm yanked from the wall, there were stains on carpet and the lamp shades, window was damaged.I am appalled at the facilities, especially since this was a 'deluxe' hotel. I only stay at the Extended Stay hotel branch when I lodge in NJ. I've had great experiences at the Somerset and Piscataway branches, which is why I had faith to book the Woodbridge location for its convenience. This was my first experience at the Woodbridge branch and I truly disappointed in the facilities. There was no functional heat in our room, on a night where temperatures dropped into the single digits and the shower at its highest temperature was luke warm. We informed the front desk attendant who switched my bo...
Location is awesome. Central junction of New Jersey
Cold shower. Luke warm at best during my 3 days. When I first arrived for check in was given a dirty room with towels on the floor. Had to switch. Stay could've been better.
Room was spacious.
It was mentioned there will be breakfast available till 9:30AM, but both the days i was there nothing was available when i went at 9AM.
Easy location. Quiet and not very busy.
Some of the common area were not clean. Had to ask for the grab and go breakfast to be refilled. No shampoo in the room.
Heater in my room was not working properly. Either off or on. It was 15 degrees outside. But the heater was off when i entered the room. It took a while for room to heat up. But it did, I woke in the night in a dead sweat, it was 90 degrees in room.I am spoiled and have stayed in nice hotels always. This was just not what I was looking for. It was mostly clean, and very basic. The staff was friendly however. The breakfast is a joke. It is not breakfast and should not be advertised that way. It was an apple and granola bars (They were out) and coffee.
You cannot argue with the rooms and the service is very good. I walked in to my room and the bed had not been made and they immediately gave me another room. TV has great selection of channels.
This the second time I have walked in to an Extended Stay and they are CLOSED FOR CHECKINS because they do their 'NIGHT AUDIT' at 9 pm. Last time it took 30 minutes this time is took about 20 minutes. Beyond dumb!~Keep in mind I use hotels for sleeping and not living. I find the Extended stays to be clean, very comfortable and I can get my work done when I get there. However they have this ridiculous 'night audit' that gets done around 9 pm and they cannot check anyone in. This is the second time for me and it is maddening. I am on the road from 6 a.m. and exhausted and have to sit in the lobby like an idiot waiting for 'the system to come back on'. I won't take it out the desk manager as they are simply mortified. But I am trying to figure out if the peopl...
Room is outdated and needs to be refurbished. The Extended stay in east Rutherford is much nicer, yet rated at 1*. Your ratings are not consistent. This hotel in Woodbridge is just average. This hotel would be fine for a stay of several days, close to the parkway and turnpike.
centrally located, comfortable room
hard to find without specific travel directions. 'free' breakfast not available after 9:30amRosa Beltran, the evening desk clerk, went out of her way to ensure that our needs were met -- ESPECIALLY after it turned out that Priceline had never forwarded the reservation to the hotel's system! She spent over an hour on the phone getting everything straightened out.
