it´s very near to the city, to the cathedral and especially to the medical universitity. the hotel staff is very friendly.
one hears very good the TV in the rooms nextby at the right and at the left.
the location - the only reason i picked it. stayed at Astoria before which is way nicer and can be cheaper but this time wanted to be closer to the action
this is a very basic hotel, somehow i didn't expect it to be *that* basic. no frills, minimal comfort, mebbe 3 channels on TV, lamish breakfast
the distance from the Cathedral is 10 minutes' walk;
the breakfast is quite poor, no internet access in the rooms (at least we couldn't reach it, but we were charged for it) and the price for such rooms are too high
Parking place is available upon request and this is really necessary as parkings in town are quite expensive
Breakfast could be improved
Zagreb was bleak, the hotel was bleak
Breakfast was very basic
nice, friendly staff, good location
the breakfasts are "too monotonous" wthout vegateblas, cottage cheese, what I missed, and also too noisy rooms at the street side.
The location of the hotel is what makes the hotel interesting.Taking into consideration the facilities it is not really a 3 star hotel.
The facilities esspecially the breakfast.
On checkout the manager was unresponsive when advised of the condition of the room. Hotel was grossly overpriced. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, the carpet was frayed, dirty and mouldy, paint was peeling off the walls (which were completely bare), the telephone and bedside lamp (a bare light globe) did not work, the room had not been vacuumed for some time, there was a empty water bottle and a used tissue under the bed. The bed base was broken and propped up with a block of wood and the fabric was ripped. The bathroom fittings were broken. The room was noisy with tram traffic outside. This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.
