Florida-based travel writer and journalist Terry Ward has circumnavigated the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard in a 37-foot sailboat as the only woman among an international crew, scuba dived into the bowels of WWII wrecks in Truk Lagoon in Micronesia and beached it on nearly every stretch of sand in Florida, convinced they're the prettiest on Earth.
