After having a reservation and waited in line for an hour the guy from the rental came and told that the didn’t have any more cars. So whats the point on making a reservation if they are not enough organized to know how many cars they have available. Worst experience ever9.6 Wonderful

No body told me the store was closing at noon I arrived 5 min late and It was closed, had to drive al the way to MIA and I was finned by the company. The car I received was not the one I signed up for, I reserved a focus and receive ed a fiesta. The car was dirty and smell like cigarette2.0 Poor

Staff was exceptionally rude. Our reservation was for 12pm but the manager was closing early that day. He told us to wait out front while he went inside to check on our reservation. Then he locked the door behind him, turned out the lights and left through a back entrance! Terrible!!! (So terrible, it was Hilarious!) But really, how could he behave so unprofessionally? He just left us out there. Would it have been so hard to say “sorry we have to close early today I can’t help you?”Cons:
He could have not left us standing outside and not locked the door and not snuck out the back door and not lied to us. He could have honored our contract with Hertz and delivered our car.2.0 Poor

I had a reservation for noon and I called and asked are they strict on the time for appointments because I was at work and couldn’t make noon and I would be there on my lunch break between 2-3, they young lady said no. I get there to pick up my rental and they rented the car I reserved. Next they tell me they “upgraded” be to an SUV which is not what I wanted. The car also wasn’t ready so I have to wait about 20-30 minutes. I also changed the time I was going to keep the rental and they end up charging me more because it’s spring break. I get that part but I live locally and already suffering from having been in a car accident so I felt the up charge was ridiculous. I drove the vehicle less than a mile back to work. I drove less than one mile home that night and had a flat tire the next day. I’m told I’m responsible for the tire. The Hertz office did take care of it but eventually said it was a nail in the tire. I find it hard to believe after such a horrible experience that that was the case. I believe the air pressure in the tires was low because they rushed to get it ready. And I would have never been in this situation had they not rented out my car I reserved. Either way, I was already majorly inconvenienced by having to rent a car in the first place and make arrangements via Uber and rearrange my work schedule and the entire experience was awful. I will never use Hertz ever again nor will I recommend via word of mouth.6.0 Okay

Lady at the desk was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Reserved a convertible. Not only did they not have a convertible, but they actually didn’t have ANY cars available at the time we reserved. And we had a tour booked that we were trying to make. After an hour they told us that they’d located a car but that it was getting an oil change and therefore may take another hour. So we canceled, ubered to Budget, and got a car on the spot.2.0 Poor

This was an awful experience. Showed up with a reservation, and after waiting in an empty office for 20 min, someone finally showed up and said they were completely backed up and didn’t have any cars available whatsoever. 13 groups of people were waiting ahead of me who had been there for hours waiting. We had a 2 day car rental, and they said they couldn’t guarantee a car by tomorrow. What’s the point of a reservation if they don’t give you a car? They shouldn’t have given us a reservation if they didn’t have cars available because we could have at least rented from another company. We had to lyft the rest of the weekend, which was a pain because we have newborns and car seats.One location in Miami Beach

I arrived a few hours after my rental appointment time and was told the rental had been automatically cancelled after two hours. Have never heard of this type of policy and was not informed of the cancellation in any way, so found this very unprofessional. They had no cars so we had to scramble to find one elsewhere.
