A unique food heritage

Bajan cuisine is an intoxicating blend of seafood, fresh fruits and vegetables, and exciting herbs and spices. Due to the island’s colonial history, a typical Bajan dish could have influences from Africa, India, Ireland or Britain – or its own indigenous Arawak people. This makes each bite a true blending of cultures.

Nothing goes better with a Bajan meal than a rum-infused drink. That’s because Barbados has been distilling quality rum for centuries and produces some of the best rum in the world. Enjoy the experience while it lasts – because as they say in Barbados: time flies when you’re having rum!
