How can I track hotel prices?
KAYAK Price Alerts monitors hotel prices and lets you know when they go up or down. Pick a hotel or destination, set a Price Alert and get notifications to your inbox or your phone.
All you need to do is go to KAYAK’s hotel search, pick a hotel, click the heart icon and hey presto, we’ll start tracking the price.
Note, you will need to sign in or create a KAYAK account before setting up any Price Alerts.

Track hotel prices for a destination.
If you have a trip planned and are looking for a good value hotel, try a destination Price Alert.
Find Price Alerts in the tools section of the app and enter the destination or area, your dates and how many rooms you need. If the star rating is important, you can pick that too. Then sit back and KAYAK will monitor hotel prices in that destination for you.
You can do this on desktop through the notifications section of your KAYAK profile.
Tip: If you want to stay near a landmark (for views of the Eiffel Tower or easy access to a theme park) add the landmark as your ‘destination’.
Track hotel prices for a specific hotel.
Have a dream hotel (or hotels) you’d love to stay at? Find the hotel in our listings, or go straight to the notifications section of your KAYAK profile. Add the hotel name and number of guests, and we’ll alert you when prices drop.
