KAYAK is launching in eight new markets in three continents. Two of the local sites – Australia and The Netherlands – are live now, and we expect to launch local sites in Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Belgium, Hong Kong and Singapore in the next two weeks. In addition to these markets, the company plans to continue expanding its global footprint across Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. 

“International growth has long been a strategic objective for KAYAK and one of the most significant synergies provided by joining The Priceline Group,” said Steve Hafner, co-founder and CEO of KAYAK. “It took our team four years to reach our first eight markets. We’re now equipped to move much faster and plan to continue expanding in 2014.”
