Today we launched ca.KAYAK.com. We know some Canadian travelers may be wondering, “What took you so long?”
We’ve actually long considered whether we should build a local version of KAYAK for Canada. We’ve also heard from some travelers and from some of our partners like Air Canada and Canadian online travel agency FlightNetwork.com that we should. So, it’s time we did.
Not only will Canadian travelers find that the default currency setting is Canadian dollars, but French speakers can also easily switch to a French-language version of the site. Our industry-leading mobile apps will be available on iOS this week and on Android in the coming weeks.
With the new Canadian site, we now have local websites in 19 countries, including the U.S., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.
