KAYAK users now have the option to select flights from a “Gantt” bar chart display of separate departure and return segments. Our default flight search display combines outbound and return flights in a single list view. This new feature allows users to select departure and return flights separately.
KAYAK CTO Giorgos Zacharia explains, “We continually experiment with our user interface, testing new designs and removing less popular features every week. Some people may prefer to see query results in a visual layout, especially anyone actually still using Microsoft Project. We’re happy to make this flight results view available.”
The new display is now available on KAYAK.com in the U.S. We will add the option to our other local websites soon.
