Traveler interest from the US to Paris has spiked: with flight searches up 26% and hotel interest up a whopping 180%. Here’s how to better plan your trip – and get a good deal.

We’ve got our eye on the ball when it comes to flight prices to Paris this summer. Our graph shows flight prices from the US to Paris, based on what month you made a search. Right now, the data is telling us that the closer we get to teh games, the better the price you may find.

KAYAK’s tips for Paris.

  • Get strategic about where you stay. Look for options near the Accor Arena at Bercy. Or head to the heart of Paris for affordable stays.
  • Earn a participation trophy. Find the games inspiring? Run the 12km route around Pont Neuf, past the Louvre and the Champs-Élysées, with views of the Eiffel Tower and a finish on the Left Bank.
  • What to know about public transport. From July 20-September 8, travelers can take out a Passe Paris 2024* (season ticket €16 per day, €70 per week) for travel throughout the Ile-de-France region.
  • Escape the crowds. Rent a car to discover incredible places less than 2 hours from Paris, like Versailles, Claude Monet’s home in Giverny, or the champagne region in Reims and Épernay.

Methodology

Average price for return economy flights (from the United States) and hotels (price per night for categories between 2 and 5 stars) for the travel dates between 24.07.2024 – 13.08.2024 are based on searches conducted across KAYAK portfolio domains from 01 October 2023 till the end of the previous months, with updates made on the 1st of each month.

KAYAK considered round-trip, economy flight interest from the US to Paris for searches between 10/1/2023 – 3/13/2024 for travel between 7/20 – 8/15/2024. For year over year comparison, searches between 10/1/2022 – 3/13/2023 for the same travel dates in 2023 were considered.
