We’ve decided to completely migrate SideStep.com traffic to KAYAK.com.
As of March 17, SideStep users will automatically be directed to KAYAK.com, where they will receive the same travel services as before but with immediate access to KAYAK’s on-going innovations.
We acquired SideStep in December 2007. Since then, our engineers have harmonized SideStep’s features and design with KAYAK.com.
“The addition of SideStep helped us gain scale and significantly improve our search algorithms,” said KAYAK Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder, Steve Hafner. “After a period of successful user testing, we now believe the time is right to provide SideStep users with access to the full KAYAK experience. The only change is a slightly different look and feel. This step marks the completion of our integration efforts.”
We’ll notify registered email users, and we encourage people to provide feedback to ensure KAYAK continues to meet their needs going forward.
