The center of Akumal is only 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes walk along the beach, where one can find, mini-supermarkets, restaurants, bars and other attractions such as the Akumal Ecological Center.Our annual VIPs are the turtles, who come back here every year between May and November to nest on our white sand beach, confiding the survival of their young ones in us, and every year we are proud to be a part of the Akumal Turtle Watch program and help in protecting the nests and the young turtles that hatch later in the season. Also our beautiful beach is all you will need to practice snorkeling, kayaking or fishing. We are also close to the archaeological zones, and for this reason we have a Concierge who can fill you in on all the secrets of the area.
