Hotel Baltum is right in the heart of the action in Albufeira. The parking garage was conveniently across the street, the cab stand directly out front, and the plaza and tiny winding streets containing all the shops, restaurants, and bars were all around us! The beach was only one block away. And with all that hustle and bustle, there was little to no nose in our room at night, even though we had a balcony overlooking the street.
Unfortunately, the rooms were VERY small, although I heard from others traveling with us that most rooms in the surrounding hotels are very small. The concierges also seems rather uninformed of the area- we're unable to give recommendations of tours and restaurants- for that you must see the kiosks in the area (btw- horseback riding at sunset on the beach through Quinto da Saudade was one of the most spectacles things I have ever seen!) The rooms also did not seem too clean since there was an odor in the room and stains on the walls.
Good location to all amenities
