The bedding was horrible, it smelled bad and I believe it was actually the mattress that held the odor.
The hotel was 15 minutes away from everywhere I needed to go. Wal mart across the street. The staff was friendly, and I had private stay. No weirdos hanging around the property.
It was not the best we have ever stayed at but not the worst either.
Location was excellent and bed was very comfortable. Very quiet.
Room was a little small, coffee pot was in room but we had to go to front desk to get coffee for it; no hair dryers in room nor at the front desk. Definitely no frills or extras, just a room; parking was limited
It's exactly what you pay for.
Size of accommodation, kitchenette with full size fridge. being renovated and it's a very nice upgrade. Liked being able to sit outside in the evening right outside our door with chairs we purchased.
Rooms only cleaned weekly but you can go and get fresh towels toilet paper etc daily.
This was an older motel converted into an Extended Stay. The remodel was still being repainted but seemed to be very near to completion. The staff was very cordial but there small inconveniences (no face/bath soap etc.) I would gladly return to this motel
There was a faulty map on their website and I had to call for directions (twice). I was tired and had no luck finding the facility - and had to call again -- that worked.
The smell of Sewer on my last day. And the painting.
Carpet was filthy. No notice that I needed to bring my own pot and pan.
arrived at 2:00p.. was told our rooms would be ready by 2:30p check was at 3:00p .. we didnt get checked in til 3:40p .. the male receptionist was rude and hung no slammed phone in my face when asked about checking in rooms smelt like paint AC didnt work!
I don't know why that this hotel only had an amber rating. I found the place to be very clean, inside and out,and the people very professional. I'm planning on visiting Albuquerque again in the spring and plan on booking with Suburban Extended Stay again.
Nothing that I can think of.
The room smelled like cat pee and looked dirty!
I enjoyed the kitchenette. I was in town for a week and being able to prepare my meals was a blessing. I enjoyed that each room has an outside exit, rather than into a hallway.
This is 'not the fault' of the hotel, but, I would love to have a bit of outdoor space to enjoy the outdoors. The hotel was not built to accommodate outdoor space.
Convenient, Large room, Nice staff,
Clean and Perfect location. Within 2 blocks of bus stop/highway exit and entrance/pharmacy/whole foods/kmart/gym/great restaurants. Plus only 10 minutes from airport.
No. Everything was great. kitchen cabinets a bit dated.
Problems with the door key. The handle on the door needed to be repaired. We tried numerous times to enter the room. It took what seemed like forever to gain access. The maintenance man also had trouble accessing the room.
Everything was good
good accept for parking and location cause of the construction being done
Was not happy
Everything was bad
The drug selling
Bang for my money
I liked NOTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL. EXTEMELY DIRTY ROOMS WITH DIRTY LINNEN AND DIRTY BLANKETS. THE CARPET WAS GROSS.This hotel even charges you .50 cents for a packet of coffee, what a joke. This is NOT two star hotel, RATHER IT IS A ONE HALF STAR AT BEST.
Everything i said above were the good qualities. THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD QUALITIY TO THI RAT HOLE.
I enjoyed the staff at the front desk.
The room was not very clean. I cleaned it before I put my stuff away. Did not look like it had been swept and the drawers were not cleaned out. The tub was gross.
It smelled like dog, carpet was dirty and pillow had hair
Hotel employee, she is the general manager does not know the meaning of customer service. She was Unbelievably rude. She would not let me finish asking a question before she interrupted me with answers that had nothing to with my senten
Room has a nice kitchen set up
That it took some one a hour to come to the door it was cold and late and the desk person wasn't there to let us check in
A lot of amenities
Stains on carpet, cable was not working one night
The price was right. I would have been very disappointed to spend more than $--- for this room given the thin walls. It was nice to have a kitchenette.
The floors were not very clean and the walls are EXTREMELY thin. Expect to hear all footsteps above you, the TV next door, and loud showers from everyone around. This includes some sort of loud vibration in the walls from the showers.
The management and staff were FANTASTIC! Thanks so much!
The hotel is conveniently located to the medical center and most areas that are of interest in the city. It is approprite to temper your expectations for the place. It is older, it is cheap.
Reading all of the other reviews, we didn't leave anything in our car to be safe, and I think that was a wise decision. It, overall, is not a horrible area to stay in - there is a Marriot next door. No hairdryer provided in the bathroom!
Our room was real dirty with used tissue on the kitchen floor, used floss next to the TV, cobwebs on walls, and dirty walls. There were also cockroaches on the bathroom floor. The tiles in restroom were uneven and my husband kept stubbing his toe.
It had a refrigerator
Room was dirty and old. Very outdated furniture including TV and bedding. Parking lot was very trashy and people loitering.
When I left the hotel.
It was dirty and smelled like smoke in a non smoking room. I complained to the front staff and after they came to inspect the room, the allowed a change. It was the worst hotel experience ever!!
inexpensive, good location
Worn and well used tho bed was new. Not as clean as it could be
The cleanliness, the kitchen and the price which allowed us to cook our meals
The bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were too soft that it did not support the head
centrally located in NE part of Albuquerque
There was no trashcan in the room. There was a coffee maker but not even one complimentary coffee packet.
Easy access from interstate. Close to a lot of dining and shopping options.
Not a big deal but there was no hair dryer provided nor did they have an ice machine.
The only thing I liked was the location.
They did not meet my needs for my family, did not have continental breakfast, and customerservice was poor.
Parking , microwave
Not very clean, didn't clean my room .
Safety - my car was vandalized. The parking is dark, there are creepy people walking around, the hotel staff make it a point to put signs up saying they are not responsible for car burglaries, and they do nothing when it happens.
I liked the location as it was close to shopping and dining facilities.
The bathtub had hair in it and appeared not to have been cleaned after the last guest left. The mattress and pillows on the bed were way to soft.
It was located close to the freeway and centrally located to a number of areas within Albuquerque.
Given a smoking room without notification. Flatware and plates were dirty. No screen on windows so there were flies in the room. Finally found a roach on the bed as I was packing to leave. Neighbors were truly extended stay...they had a BBQ & house plants
The free WiFi was easy to use. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The onsite laundry was reasonably priced.
The carpet was dirty. I had to keep my socks on so my feet would not get dirty. The room needed to be updated. The arm of the upholstered chair was ripped. The vanity and door to the bathroom had water damage.
The lobby was clean.
The lobby was almost always empty, getting a staff to the front to help you could take as long as 30 minutes or more. The room we were in had bed bugs which we brought a few to the desk.
Generally nice staff.
Old and outdated, definitely in need of remodeling/updates. No pool. Carpet was dirty (turned our bare feet black) & bathroom floor was sticky. We were shocked to hear housekeeping services are only available once a week.TV never worked either.
