The hotel was constructed in neo-classical style in 1870s, and opened in 1904 under the name of 'Hotel Molaro'. In a short while it became frequented by famous artists, writers and noble families. The elegant lounges furnished in the style of Louis XVI, provide a welcoming atmosphere that takes one back to the time when the queen of Sweden and the Kaiser and other friends of the doctor Axel Munthe frequently visited the hotel Dining: From the spacious restaurant, there are wonderful panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples. These large area can seat guests for all types of functions with typical regional food and Capri specialities.
