The hotel is showing its age. The pictures and the actual room were different.
Character and location
N/AThe hotel was an old Victorian Home with an addition built on to the back. Even with the addition it kept its old world charm, the rooms were large and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The surrounding area had everything you could want and need for enjoyment, food and necessities. I would definantly stay there again.
Nice character and has old Victorian feel. Good breakfast in a nice setting.Nice place to spend the night in this area. The over all area isn't that great, but I felt safe, and the hotel was nice. Great value and price was right. Rooms have a feel of a motel and the towels are small. The public areas are nice.
The rooms made me feel at home. The breakfast was awesome.
I liked the location as well as the hotel itself. I have stayed at The Victoria several times and have yet to be disappointed.
No.It is a beautiful building located in downtown Anniston, Alabama. The service is excellent, and the food is really good. I would recommend this place to anyone. The Victoria has become one of my favorite places to stay.
The room was musty and damp and consequently all our clothes were damp when we departed. I would not stay here again.
The character and charm of the hotel was wonderful. I was amazed at how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were to be sitting on one of the main highway/streets going through Anniston.
The only thing that I could say I didn't like about it was that the water pressure in the bathroom was not very good. The sink was also slow to drain and the toilet did not flush well (I did have to ask the housekeeping staff for a plunger). Our stay at The Victoria was great! The staff members were very nice and accomodating, very pleasant. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing and quiet. I wish our stay had been longer and I had more time to wander the house and find out more of it's history. I was very pleased with the entire experience and would not hesitate to stay again and have recommended the hotel to my friends.
Good breakfast, affordable rates, flexible room change when we needed two twins instead of a king.
This hotel is a real treat. Great Victorian. The staff is very nice. The breakfast was fabulous. A perfect place for a romantic get-away OR a reunion.
