View from the room was fabulous. Make sure to book a room with a .valley view
I have stay at this hotel twice before and love it. The location is right inside one of the city gates and it has its own parking. The view over the Umbrian plain is gorgeous and the flights of swallows and swifts fascinating.
Excellent location in Assisi with parking.
The hotel is beautifully refurbished, the staff were excellent, the aspect was utterly beautiful. It is very comfortable and clean. I loved being there. The atmosphere was very good. The cost was very good. At this time, Hotel Giotto would be my first choice when visiting Assisi. I will happily recommend it to all those I know.
Had dinner one evening in the Hotel Restaurant. The food was poorly cooked, they took a ridiculously long time to serve us and to present us with the food we had ordered, even though we were the first to arrive that evening. When we complained, they tried to justify themselves, but the waiter who served us (whom we do not blame for this) was courteous and would not charge us for the meal.
