I loved the area and the workers. Everyone was nice and pleasant to talk to.
I did not like the fact that we had no hot water for who knows how long. We had to take a cold shower on the day of checkout. Very upsettingHotel was great over all. Just wished we had hot water to bathe.
ParkingI read the reviews before leaving and we parked at a parking garage down the street and walked with out bags. We still had to pay $16/day for parking. But the hotel itself was nice. Very fancy. Very Busy. They had a pack and play for our baby that was very clean. I don't think I would stay there again- but it was nice for the night.
Great downtown location; spacious attractive room; beautiful public spaces
noThis is a beautiful, conveniently located hotel. You can walk to most downtown attractions and restaurants.
Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Pool area was extraordinary.
I was shocked and disappointed by the $35 daily fee to park your vehicle in the hotel garageGreat location easily accessible. Excellent staff friendly knowledgeable and eager to assist. Spacious rooms comfortable bed.
This hotel was Incredible.. The Design & Layout nothing like I've ever seen. The view from my room amazing. The Staff Attentive & Expeditious Awesome Experience.
Nothing To ReportThe Marriott Atlanta Marquis is a 4 star plus hotel indeed. Stepping into the corridor and looking at the layout and design of this place is just amazing. The staff was on point very attentive check in was a breeze even with large groups of people coming and going. I have never seen anything like this place it looked like a futuristic hotel from a movie. How they maintain such a Behemoth of a Hotel is beyond me hats off to the management & staff. The location was a short walk from the Marta Peachtree center station and with so many shops eateries restaurants spa swimming sports bar right within the hotel you really have no need to leave. It was the best of the best of my trips to Atlanta I truly thank Priceline for this experience and I look forward to staying again.
The staff was great.
Everything was expensive, parking the car, breakfast, Internet use. Nothing is included in the cost of the room but the room.
Loved the heated indoor-outdoor pool. all Staff extremely polite and helpful. room was clean. room service very good: really great cheeseburger, artfully arranged too! quick check-in. for a very large hotel, it was very well run.
Parking a problem @ $27. Brunch @$27 also a bit high--but fully loaded at 10:30 am with 1l am cutoff.
I liked the downtown location, but it made it hard to find certain things (like a convenience store).
Valet did not give me a stub (valet mandatory @ $32/day, otherwise use public parking without in/out svc) & charged it to my room by my name. When I left, I had to go to the parking garage (valet wouldn't go get my vehicle) and verify my identity.Overall, a great experience, but there were a few things lacking: - no mini fridge/microwave - no free parking - inconsistent valet service - no free breakfast - no convenience stores Good things: - Room was clean - Hotel is nice - Check in was very easy - Check out was super easy (you can check out on your tv in the room and just leave the key cards) - Within walking distance of an indoor mall, a couple liquor stores, some cafes and restaurants, and it's on the MARTA line
The hotel was close to the Mart. It was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful!
I had bid for a 3 star - did not like being upgraded to a 4 star, as there were extra expenses - like parking fee of $32 per day! There was not a complimentary breakfast or wifi! We bid on Priceline in order to save money. We were not on expense account! The Hotel was fine for business people - who have an expense account to pay for Wifi, breakfast, and parking! The room was a bit small. I prefer bathrooms that have a separate sink area from toilet area. So not impressed with the 'four star' deal. Amazing how you can have a hotel that costs less - just as clean and nice - but so many amenities!!!! Much prefer that to 'the name' of a hotel! Have stayed in some awesome hotels while traveling for a month at a time during the past year for 3 different trips! Priceline failed us this time!
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is stunning and the rooms were immaculate.
Not especially. I suppose the ice machine could have been more conveniently located, but I am honestly reaching for something. We were not even on the property yet when we were greeted by two staff members to help us with our luggage. Check in was fast and smooth, I couldn't have asked for better customer service. The lobby of this hotel is architectually stunning and the rooms are well designed and clean. The view from our room was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and smelled fresh. The concierge was very helpful in helping us plan our outing for the day and made some great suggestions for things to see during our short stay. The bellhops gave us a referral for where to eat and we loved the place. Almost everything was within walking distance and we only paid a $12 cab fee regardless of where we went. This hotel is very centrally...
