Avis never again. Rip off. I did try to extend my rental but they tried to charge me more than double the price per day than they showed on the previous rental. Had to go next door to Alamo to get a car and Alamo was friendly and gave me even an upgrade for half the price.

First car back door wouldn’t open at rental and was pretty shabby. Moved us to another car Second car had TPMS warning light come on several days later. Avis location in Kaanapali said it was just indicating service was due. Brought it there to avoid a potential roadside assistance claim. Dangerous answer. I have pic of warning light. I added air myself and light went out. Monitored it until returned car

Rented a full size, received a Corolla that we believe had just been dropped off. The gas tank was only 1/2 full, I ended up vacuuming the back seat when I got home, and when I asked to move our drop off time by an hour, I was told I would have to pay for a full extra day even though I was already paying for 2 days for a total rental time of 28 hours.

The car was old lots of miles. I returned the auto 2 days early never received a refund., also my deposit has not been refunded.

No one spoke English at the Avis Rio de Janeiro location (out of 4 people, who were at the counter). You had to have made a reservation at least 1 day in advance. I had to cancel my reservation and use a different rental company.

The rental process was super easy. We didn't have to wait long, and the car was parked right outside the terminal. The car we rented was clean and worked without issues.

I had to wait over 30 minutes in line .There was 1 staff for priority and 1 for regular.Perhaps they could have more staff for regular checking in.The outside staff was very kind and helpful.My only complaint is long wait in line.

Vehicle was spotless. It was almost brand new. Customer service was excellent.
