The person who checked me in was not very friendly. However, everything was ok. I was not expecting a $200.00 deposit charge on my credit card after I returned the vehicle on time as scheduled.

the person that was at the counter was very, very slow. A co-worker took care of 4 individuals to 1 for the person that assisted us. The Tolls charge was not explained to us so we didn't take it only to find ourselves going over a toll bridge with ABSOLUTELY NO idea what to do. This was very upsetting. We were also given a space letter/number for the car we were assigned to only to get to the lot and there was no such #. We were not told what kind of car we had been given so no clue what to do. Luckily a lot attendant saw our confusion and stopped to assist us. Even he was confused which car was ours since the # didn't match anything. I feel the counter worker was somewhat competent but probably should not be at the counter. The car itself was great but there was a lot of stress involved with the entire rental process upon arriving at the car rental terminal.

Car was misrepresented; the car i received was much smaller than the description on the website suggested. Security deposit eas ridiculously high (3500 euros).

Easy pick up and drop off; no waiting at all! Had my choice of two vehicles; the Chevy Equinox SUV was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 huge suitcases. Cost was the best around by far!

I prepaid for this rental through Kayak and have the paperwork to prove that. After turning in the car, I was charged $861.92 for some unknown reason. I called Avis on 4/14/26 to dispute the charge. The customer service person I spoke with said they couldn't see any reason why I was charged that amount and submitted a request for refund of $861.92. They said the credit would post in 3-5 business days. I called Avis again today to follow up on this and the customer service person informed me that the refund request had been declined. He also stated that he could see no reason why I was charged this amount. He then resubmitted the refund request which he said would take 5-7 business days to process. I am skeptical at this point that the refund will be approved. This is the first time that I've used Kayak to book a car rental and the ONLY time I've had an issue like this come up. I have NEVER had an issue booking through Costco or directly with Avis. Kayak's prices may be attractive but it's not worth the problems booking this rental through you has caused me on the back end. I will advise my friends and family to avoid using Kayak because of this.

Convenient location, great car, very clean. Pick up can be more smooth. Not sure why it took so long to enter my details in the computer (since I already entered them online). Took 15 minutes to get my drivers license registered, fill out forms, texting on cellphone, scanning QR codes. Not sure what was happening since i already had a reservation and filled out my details online, but took way too long. Anyway. I am thankful and appreciative of the service. Drop off at the airport was excellent.
