Booked via Priceline, paid Priceline and then charged again for the room by the Residence Inn when they were holding our card for incidentals. We spoke to the hotel 2 days ago and I emailed Priceline customer service two days ago without resolution.
The front desk manager required that I pay again vs honoring the pre-paid reservation. She actually advised me to call priceline to cancel.
The best! Wheelchair accessible shower (which I did not need); ample grab bars, very large room, kitchen, clean, comfortable bed; cheerful decor. Ample parking. Best 'free' breakfast by far, with some hot items.\n\nExcellent service; we stay here often. Nothing not to like for the Simsbury/Avon visitor. Hard to find the first time though--ask for directions.
