Pros:It is a rustic, quaint lodge right outside of Glacier. It has a homey/ cabin like feel with great people running it and great locals visiting it. Bar and food were amazing. We could not have asked for a more authentic Montana experience and we will be back!
Cons:I personally prefer a private bath, but we survived! We had a double bare bones room, but it was sufficient. We never heard any other guests and felt like we had the place to ourselves at night.
Pros:The food in their "restaurant" was great
Cons:No A.C., the mattress was terrible, furniture in the room was made from 2x4's, no bathroom, no shower.
Pros:We were grateful to find accommodations in The Glacier National Park area. There were almost no places available anywhere on a 3 week notice. Duck Lake Lodge was simple but clean and acceptable. Very rural. Restaurant is attached to lodge and serves simple fare.. However breakfast is not served until 9:00am which surprised us
Cons:Not being able to get breakfast until after 9:00am. We left and found food in St. Mary's.
Pros:Great location. Fair price. Limited, but good food. Friendly staff. Shared bathroom was not a problem for five men, but families and those who like more privacy may not like.
