"Campy" but we loved it!
It is a rustic, quaint lodge right outside of Glacier. It has a homey/ cabin like feel with great people running it and great locals visiting it. Bar and food were amazing. We could not have asked for a more authentic Montana experience and we will be back!
I personally prefer a private bath, but we survived! We had a double bare bones room, but it was sufficient. We never heard any other guests and felt like we had the place to ourselves at night.
Better off in a tent
The food in their "restaurant" was great
No A.C., the mattress was terrible, furniture in the room was made from 2x4's, no bathroom, no shower.
We were grateful to find accommodations in The Glacier National Park area. There were almost no places available anywhere on a 3 week notice. Duck Lake Lodge was simple but clean and acceptable. Very rural. Restaurant is attached to lodge and serves simple fare.. However breakfast is not served until 9:00am which surprised us
Not being able to get breakfast until after 9:00am. We left and found food in St. Mary's.
Great location. Fair price. Limited, but good food. Friendly staff. Shared bathroom was not a problem for five men, but families and those who like more privacy may not like.
