ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport: easy to reach via the A4 and A9 highways or from the airport with the free Airport Shuttle service, which runs between 5AM and 1AM. It only takes 25 minutes by public transport to get to Amsterdam city center, where you can explore the city's sights, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Anne Frank House. The Arena, Ziggo Dome, RAI and WTC are also easy to reach by public transport or taxi.
Nice clean reasonable hotel. Recommended it.
shuttle service to airport
I like simple modern decor, however this was a bit to basic, Th staff was courteous and check-in was fast. The hotel was only 10 minutes away by free shuttle bus from the airport, and we did not need to wait longer then 5-10 minutes each way for the shuttle.
We paid over $200 for a triple room, however, what we received was a "converted" double room. They removed the narrow desk at the window and the bedside table, and instead squeezed in an extra bed. The double room was already very small and basic, but with this change it was really uncomfortable. The two single beds that were pushed together to make a "double" (with an uncomfortable crack in between) was only separated by about a 15 cm gap from the single bed, not allowing to fit two legs side by side, therefore you had to shuffle in sideways to get to the bed. The only electric outlets were above this third bed, so since there were no desks or tables, the overnight charging of the ipads and phones could only happen on the bed, making it very uncomfortable to sleep next to it. In addition, the bathroom light could only be turned on with the entrance light, therefore if someone wants to go out to the bathroom, has to disturb everyone in the room with the light. A dim nightlight in the bathroom would be a welcome change. In addition, the restaurant at the 4th floor had a poor decor and mediocre food, and at 60 Euros for two main courses and a desert and water I think it is really overpriced. My lamb was likely over its teenage years, and my boys did not care for the hamburger meat either, although they usually love it.
Very easy check in and wonderful staff. Good shuttle service..
Poor service in restaurant. Young and not well trained staff. Good food though and reasonable prices
I had allergy problems in this hotel and I could hardly breathe. There was also a mouldy mell in the air, I assume that was my problem.
Lots of restaurants with fast food- quick and easy when you are on the move.
The noise levels in the hotel are not good as the cleaners are working 24/7 and this is not good!!
Good location & shuttle convenience. Good food in the restaurants in hotel premises.
Housekeeping staff waked us in the morning for the cleaning the room which was highly unexpected. Over all it's ok.
Clean comfortable rooms; adequate facilities in the rooms; great for a quick stop-over; convenient airport transfer
The airport is very close to this hotel which is part of the reason we selected it; it has a shuttle bus which is convenient as we had only 13 hours between flights home to the states.
The free and frequent airport bus shuttle was great.
close to aeroport, clean
not very family friendly.
The food and the shuttle service was good.
The Wi-fi facility has to be improved as i was not happy with the service of T-Mobile Hotspot as it got disconnected after 10 minutes.
The free shuttle, with frequent trips, was excellent. Always on time and never had to wait long for the next shuttle. Also started early so was able to get to airport to meet a 5:30am flight.
there are no driyer.
No remarks it is an Ibis Hotel... nothing more... low cost but with Breakfast as an extra or anything else that you may get as standard in other hotels this hotel become as it is less attractive...
Room service should be available...as a proper Restaurant Menu as well, not only badly grilled meat with frozen potato’s over fried pretending to be French fries... worst than any Mac... that’s all what it is available no matter which meal name you select...
