very nice good price
The room was right next to the freeway it was super noisy i couldn't sleep all night if you don't plan to sleep this is the Hotel for you.
cleanliness and cordial news of employees
handicap spaces are too small my truck was dinged
The location of the motel was perfect. With the area to prepare food the need to eat out is eliminated.
Hard to find if not familiar with the area.
Room 100 was great. Ground floor was easy for my husband to bring his tools in. And to get out bags in and out of our trucks. Loved the weekend manager Amy she is always so helpful and friendly.
That the young lady at the desk on Friday gave me a hard time checking in with my bank card. Where I had just used it a few weeks prior when we first stayed here.
My room fixtures were old and broken. The hotel was out of nearly everything at that was supposed to be included in the breakfast. I was surprised with the overall quality of the hotel.
Awful service, rude management, ac didn't work in first room, dirty, things that should be sealed were open
That we found a few bug's in our room. And that the kitchen utensils were not in the room. (you had to check them out when needed) and the bottom of the toilet was loose from the floor.
the room is nice and clean. nice bed. dont be fooled by the location.
Really clean room. Good customer service. Would stay there again...
Price was good
Breakfast area very small - not much selection or place to sit down
It was inexpensive and met my expectations for the price I paid. No complaints.
Comfortable bed. Amenities.
Across from mini golf park that played loud music.
The nic bed big TV
It don't have coffee pot
It was close to freeway
It was dirty and loud
Room was pretty quiet, even during the day.
I work the night shift (6pm-6pm) which means I need to sleep from about 8am to 4:30pm. With check-in times at 3pm and check-out times at 11am, I have to pay for two nights just to get one 8-hour period of sleep. Would be nice if that wasn't the case.
small kitchen-untincels and dishes included-
dirty-noisy-train yard and amusement park on both sides-could'nt get any rest or sleep-hotel had 1 hair dryer you had to share with entire guest list-bare bones accommodations-
excellent nice place & great price!
TV in ours room wasn't working. Stuff refused to take care this program for both days we stay. On second day room wasn't cleaned, no towels and shampoo change, no trash pick up.
Had a fridge in the room, was very clean and fairly quiet. For the rate I paid, more than worth it
Close to an amusement park. Small park, but somewhat noisy. Did quiet down in the evening, so not even an issue.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Location is at the intersection of the freeway, railroad and airport. Freeway noise was bothersome.
They didn't want to change my check in date by one day. Waste of money
Location to food, gasoline, and coffee. Free internet was a plus.
The free breakfast was very standard and boring, like 95% of all free breakfast offerings.
Room was clean and quiet...
Gal at check in not very nice...muffins on breakfast cart were stale...and a 50.00 charge for incidentals, what incidentals? I did not use the kitchen appliances and utinsels offered at check in so I do not know what this charge was for.
Good réception at the desk.
When we make the réservation we supposed to have a free american breakfast but we don't.
Noise, parking, I wouldn't call package oatmeal breakfast
The first motel extended stay on Chester lane.in Bskersfield just around the corner was awesome.I dont know what happened here!!!!!!!
All of it!!!!
Mediocre, doesn't compare to Best Western. Can be hard to find off highway!
Location off highway. Breakfast disappointing.
The staff is chilly; room is not clean; breakfast is not good; location is easy to find, actually it is near freeway and very noisy.
Reception counter interaction (not friendly /professional)Noisy upstairs guest (all night)Some person was talking on a loud speaker at nearby business late into the night
Room smells badStaff were rude and unhelpfulRoom was small
Usually no problems and good price.
The power went off in the middle of the night, which triggered the smoke detector to beep every 2 mins. There was no plate in the microwave, the water purifier adapter sprayed water everywhere and the staff did nothing to resolve the smoke detector
It was a place to sleep
The fact they said it was a queen bed NOT,it was a reg. It was very hard for my husband and i to get comfortable. They had no quarters for laundry or vending. Location was bad, no stores close.
Kitchen had no dishes silverware cookware. Hole in wall. . Location was very hard to get to
I only had to stay one night
Yes it is located next to a very busy Freeway, RT 99. It sounded like I was laying on the shoulder of the road.
The room with a stove
That I havent got the money back they held for incidentials
The Staff was wonderful
Several of the outdoor lights were not functioning which in turn made me feel less than safe. It's als located next to a freeway and hub for Southern Pacific Railroad, needless to say it was quite noisy.
The rooms were small and rundown a little. The pots and dishes provided were in not very good quality and were missing pieces.
It is right next to a train station which had a loud intercom system as well as the loud clashing of trains connecting to different cars and tracks throughout the night. People were yelling and fighting throughout the evening as well.
TV had lines keeping us from viewing many channels. There was no ice machine or ice available unless you had ice within the refrigerator. Microwave did not work. Had to return to the office to have key fixed to open door
Close to food.
No pool, spa. Had to ask for everything. Noisy freeway, trash on the ground. Seemed more like a one star, Motel 6.
The room was very nicely set up considering the option for a fully functioning kitchen if needed.
The hotel employee's were very unorganized, very under trained, and the management team has treated me so poorly that I absolutely REFUSE to stay at the Extended Stay located on California Ave in Bakersfield Ca.
The location, it was the perfect midway point between the starting point in my trip and final destination.
The cleanliness was horrendous in both rooms offered. Found yellow stains of suspicious nature and body hair (including private areas) in the bed. I opted to drive all night to my final destination than stay the night there.
Fresh Paint, flooring and crooked poorly installed bathroom towel rack
Arrived at 1am, lots of nefarious characters lurking around the exterior coupled with signage about vehicle brake-ins lead me to believe its not a safe location.
The room had acceptable WiFi and a kitchen.
The is very noisy: just 50y from the highway, the freight yard (very noisy at night) and near an amusement park on the rear (playing loud music until 11pm). The rooms are dark because the windows are facing the corridor.
staff was friendly.
This is NOT a 2 star hotel. Rooms are small, furniture was warped (pressed wood). We were given a room on the hyway side with noise all night long. Please don't say breakfast if all it is: is an apple and muffin to go in the morning. Rate this a 1 star.
I have stayed before at exstened stay before and very much enjoyed it
I was placed in the wrong room and was charged extra four being booked in the wrong room.
I have stayed many times at the other Extended Stay America on Chester Ave. I've never had a problem upgrading my room to a 2 bed queen for $10 more. At this place they wanted to charge me----- more per night.
Very noisy; trains all night long 200 feet away, hwy is also only 200-300 feet away.
comfortable for thr price
Very, VERY noisy being right next to train tracks
Right next to the free way and a train station it's noisy enough, on top of that the beds feel like your sleeping on the floor anyways. Only plus is they allow pets and it's in a safe location.
Very bad experience. Flies were coming through the bathroom vent constantly and not just one or two. Also, the hotel charged my credit card for the room when my credit card was already charged by an online travel website. The hotels excuse was that the credit card the online travel website provided was declined. I will never use the online travel website or this hotel again.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Quiet even with railroad a block away. Close to everything and easy access. Optional housekeeping was very clear and greately appreciated. If I am in Bakersfield again, this would be my first choice to stay. 'Inexpensive motel' only in actual price. Much much nicer than the price would indicate
