We had a wonderful break nothing was to much trouble for the owners. The food was excellent the chef was first class and he had to cope in dire circumstances, bad weather had caused a power cut which lasted nearly 24 hours but he and his wife pulled out all the stops to make my birthday treat a success. Well done Frondderw we are truely satisfied customers and will return.
We loved it all.
Impressive house in a great position, welcoming hosts, comfy rooms and a dinner to die for - do not miss this! Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed at.
Missing out on the local male voice choir's practicr due to a tight schedule.
Welcoming drink after a long drive as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel.
Nothing, it was good.
We booked in for 3 nights B&B and stayed for four. The staff could'nt do enough for us. I couldn't have hoped for a more pleasant stay. By the time we left the staff were like our friends.
Lovely house in a good location for exploring North Wales. We were made very welcome and felt at home with attentive service. Excellent breakfast and helpful people who spent time making sure we enjoyed our time in the beautiful surroundings of Snowdonia.
Very friendly and helpful owners. Hotel in a beautiful location about 10 minutes walk from Bala town centre, but take a torch if coming home late. Excellent breakfast.
Rather small room with even smaller shower room. Restaurant was closed on the two days we stayed there, which was not a problem for us. But if a hotel states it has a restaurant, it really should be open.
The house was really lovely, with a magnificent view of Bala, the lake and the hills. We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and were looked after caringly throughout our stay. The breakfasts were delicous, our hosts going out of their way to make them suitable for our vegetarian diets.
Only one - that our bathroom was not en suite, but it was right opposite our room and very comfortable, so it didn't really bother us. Ours was apparently the only room in the house which didn't have an en suite bathroom.
Hotel staffs were very kind and warm. Breakfast were excellent.
We couldn't take dinners in the hotel.
A very warm welcome , excellent room over looking lake, service excellent able to enjoy glass of wine on decking overlooking lake. Good choice at breakfast, nothing too much trouble would stay there again.
Parking limited but always seems to fit all guest cars in and a bit of a climb walking back from bala centre.
