I loved the room, the help of staff getting to the Film Festival, and the fact that the dining room is IN the hotel, and has delicious food.
I found the room could use more lighting for evening reading. Also the internet connection was unreliable. Not everyone I suspect intends to stay and leave behind all obligations, thus if the internet connection had been more reliable, I could have responded to work issues with less anxiety.
I liked having a fireplace in my room and that the room was clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the short walk into town.
It was a bit more dated and smaller than I thought. But in comparison to other hotels (the fairmont) it was good value for the money. The hot tub had dirt and rocks in it, but we still enjoyed it.
If you've got the right side of the lodge you'll have a very nice view which we've experienced & the location it's quite close to the centre of the city (Banff) with a lot of shops & restaurants.
None, only they didn't foreseen the two double beds as our booking+They've given us one king bedroom for the same price which probably cost more because of bigger space/more luxurious+ But it might go wrong,if they don't have other option available and luckily we have only 1 child to sleep together in the king bedsize, but how abt family with 2 children ?
