I loved that our room felt like a private cabin. The beds were extremely comfortable and the view was spectacular.
We love a great cup of coffee. Found that further in town.
It was nice and quiet.
fireplace in the room was great, restaurant was also excellent.
room was quite run down. toilet seat falling off, bathroom fan way too loud and shaking to use, door knob ready to fall off, blinds adjuster broken, bathroom door very water damaged. If I wanted a bunch of dyi projects, I would have stayed at home.
The front dest staff was very welcoming and helpful. When the T.V. in our room did not work, they sent someone over immediately to fix it . He was also friendly and helpful.
The room was very small and felt stuffy and confining, rather than cozy. The floor was not clean and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling light fixture. There was a family with children in the room above us and we did not get much rest.
The rooms are quite private with fireplaces.
The duvets on the beds were too heavy and there was no alternative covers. It smelled very smokey as if the flue had not been open during a fire.
Clean, comfortable beds
Limited parking; was able to find parking spot on-site
We truly enjoyed the hotel and the room. The fireplace made it very cozy. Room was clean and neat - dinning was very good and in line with prices in town (though none were inexpensive). Hotel was close enough to downtown to walk if you desired. Only minor complaint (by us and others) - the hot tub was luke warm and the management would not raise the temp. Every thing else was great and we would stay again.
We have a brand new baby and were looking for a place to stay for overnight getaway. We picked this hotel as we had stayed there for company Christmas party (excellent service if you're looking for this too). Staff set up playpen for our son to sleep in, had plate of cookies out (nice touch), and hand written card stating if we needed anything to contact front desk. Breakfast buffet was great, quiet, and service all around was wonderful. 5 stars from first time parents!!!!
We had a deluxe room that had a fireplace & vaulted ceiling. Gorgeous room with balcony! We've been here before & it's always a special treat on our trip. The outdoor hottub is surrounded by flower gardens. The fitness center is clean & has good equipment. Out of town but pretty setting. The lodge/restaurant is beautiful & has an excellent reputation for dining but we haven't eaten there. Fireplace came with the firewood. Cookies on arrival. A pleasure.
We loved our stay at the Lodge. The fireplace in the room was a treat and the scent form it was exactly what we wanted and expected. The service was wonderful, the hot tub perfect as was the view from our balcony We did not want a run of the mill hotel and were happy with the rustic feel of this one. We will definitely visit again and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through the rockies.
