Location and that it had the 3 essentials...blow dryer, microwavr and mini fridge
freeway noiseCute clean and desirable. The staff could have been more attentive and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived
The hotel was very close to the casino ¿¿
Country inn was too close to the train. Didn't sleep too good because of the loud noise¿¿
Leaving it behind!!!!
Too much for this section! Worst hotel we've ever stayed at!!! And we travel a lot!!They advertise a free continental breakfast, but do not have one, they don't even have coffee! The staff was un-accomidating. They charged a $60. deposit(per room), and $10 per person over age 12. And we have 5 boys 14-21, so it was $30 extra. And they won't refund your deposit until they check your rooms, and count your bedding, and towels. We asked for extra blankets and pillows, and they said they only had one extra blanket and one pillow.
Right next to freeway, so extremely noisy. Also, breakfast was advertised, but did not exist.
The only thing I did like was the bed:( for the price that I paid with Priceline I expected a lot better:(
The male clerk had an odor of a musty ash try. He smelled like moldy cigarettes. At 1pm on Sat I called the front office and asked for a WAKE-UP CALL for 3pm. I didn't get the call.. Was late for an appointment.
The hotel met my location needs. Our family was traveling from Phoenix to Santa Barbara, and we need a room for a few hours to rest and refresh ourselves for the remainder of our journey. The hotel was located next to a busy interstate highway that contributed to a high volume of noise in our room. This was not ideal for rest unless you have the foresight to have packed industrial ear protection. Upon entering our hotel room we were surprised to find that the floor was flooded and the room was significantly damp and humid. The plumbing had overflowed and hotel management continued to rent the room out before the matter was cleaned and resolved. The moat surrounding our bed had the positive unseen effect of creating a barrier to any non-swimming insect life in the room. I could not recommend this room due to my personnel experiences.
