The hotel lobby was beautiful. The restaurant had fantastic food and a live dj!
The room was a little outdated. It had a 27inch box tv and the beds were not the best.I would definitely go back to this hotel because of the friendly hotel and restaurant staff. Its an overall great hotel. It just needs updating in the rooms.
The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was very clean, a little old, but kept up just the same. The breakfast area was huge with a beautiful view out onto the golf course. This place had the most beautiful views. The staff were incredibly helpful
I did notice that the stairways were showing their age, but the place was very clean and that is more important than aging sheetrock in the stairwells. Other than that, I really really enjoyed my stay and cant wait to return again. An older hotel, but kept well. The room was normal size, and very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the pillows fluffy. Large dining area and food good and prices reasonable. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view from the dining area is really pretty. This would be a really nice place for a wedding. Looking forward to returning.
Comfy rooms with more than ample space. Restaurant on site.
The long walk to the main doors (uphill)!!
The hotel had lots to offer. The grounds were beautiful, the pool heated -indoor and outdoor, and the staff friendly.
The rooms were outdated, and some of the extras -like a warm breakfast, were $5. The continental breakfast was a little lackluster without that.We went off season, so there weren't very many other residents there at the same time. Was nice for us, since it gave us privacy while swimming, and a quiet breakfast - for the most part. Did see the back entrance of hotel could use a tlc. Did peruse around the location, and the banquet areas looked nice and well maintained. Staff was welcoming and helpful, and rooms clean, though a bit outdated. Did see the shower was out of code (no scald proof), so no flushing toilets while bathing. Lots to do on the resort, as well as nearby. Shopping right up the street, and in nearby Birch Run, and Frankenmuth not out of the picture too. Overall, got a good deal on a decent location an...
Great location and setting. Staff was very attentive, professional and friendly.
The hotel has a steep staircase at the main entrance. There is an elevator to the right of the area, but it is marked for the handicapped. There is ground access to your room, but after you check in and have a card key for the outside door.Great staff and great location. The room that we had was in serious need of updateing. Room was dingy, can light had the light bulb hanging out of fixture, carpet was in rough shape and the TV was a huge CRT type. I would remove a half star as a minimum. I can only speak to the room that we were in.
Outside of hotel was very pretty
Room was old& musty with uncomfortable beds.Very outdated hotel& had a wooden seat that was peeling paint in the room.Said on priceline breakfast was included but was continental type food&could pay $5.00 for omelets. Not what I was expecting.Room was old& musty with uncomfortable beds.Very outdated hotel& had a wooden seat that was peeling paint in the room.Said on priceline breakfast was included but was continental type food&could pay $5.00 for omelets. Not what I was expecting. Definitely was not in the same line as most 2.5 star hotels i have stayed in before. Very unhappy with my stay at this place. Will not be using 2.5 star hotels on priceline again.
Not a lot.
No elevator near our room, so were directed to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. You could hear the conversations of folks next to us (both sides) and even open a can of pop. The continental breakfast was not good, at all. (Usually like them)We use Priceline quite a bit and are usually very satisfied but this was not a good experience. Not up to a 2 1/2. The building looked worn and shabby. It was very cheaply built so you could hear conversations on both sides of you. The bathroom shower leaked. The food on the continental breakfast was not good. I have had a much better breakfast at an inexpensive hotel chain. -- We were very surprised because the pictures on their website looked very nice. We stayed in 8 different hotels during this trip and this is the only one we did not like. We would never stay there again.
The lobby is really nice, so I was shocked that the room was so outdated and in need of TLC. It did have some nice blinds that blocked out the light.
There was rust all over the sink. The room smelled musty. Paint was peeling and the bed was super uncomfortable. This hotel should not be 2 1/2 stars!!! The only thing about it that is 2 1/2 stars, is the price. I would like to get my money back.
Everything seemed very clean. Staff was friendly.
The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in. It felt like a sack of rocks.
