We go skiing twice a year to winterplace. We always stay at the hojo. Great prices and clean. Never had a problem there in four straight years.
Price was good, breakfast was OK
Had a smoking room when I wanted a non-smoking room. This was really the fault of both priceline and the hotel. The hotel told me they could not change me to a non-smoking room because priceline had locked the room and gave them no option. Priceline toThe real problem here is PRICELINE. Priceline reverted my choice to smoking and then refused to change it on the priceline help desk. Priceline claimed i needed to call the hotel and change the room selection to nonsmoking. The hotel claimed that Priceline locked the booking and had no latitude to change the reservation. I will not use priceline as my choice for a hotel booking in the future.
My room was dirty. I had chips between the sheets, whiskers in the sink, hair in the tub and the room reeked of cigarettes.
Staff was very helpful, great breakfast bar. free coffee night and day. gave us extra pillows. room was very clean. very fast wireless internet.
That they had a vacancy
It smelled very smokey in all areas of the hotelAlthough we were thankful for the vacancy after a long drive, it was not worth the cost. All common areas smelled of smoke, the bedspreads were stained and overall it was outdated.
