Breakfast was great.
Best Holiday Inn express ever stayed at, truly.Front Desk and other staff were excellent- helpful, friendly, and eager to help with extra blankets, directions, restaurant suggestions, etc.Very clean, clearly very well run-pool and hot tub excellent.
Have had some Holiday Inn disappointments in the past. But Nothing really bad at all at this one- fantastic for the price!
The staff was great. The pool was nice. The breakfast was great along with the snacks in the afternoon!
There wasn't extra blankets in the closet. Other then that it was a good room.
The woman at the reception desk is what sold us on this hotel in the first place. she was friendly, kind, helpful, and professional. We loved the free afternoon snacks and the free breakfast, and the pool was just beautiful.
The bathroom was small, but tolerable. The free breakfast was plentiful, but hot items were not the greatest. We were looking forward to using the pancake maker, but a staff person turned it off and emptied it before the breakfast hour had ended.
We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, the room was nicely updated, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The coffee area, outside of bathroom, was nice as was microwave and mini-refrigerator.
Side entry smelled funny. The front desk person who checked us in had on a very dirty shirt.
Smallest room I've ever stayed in. We had a baby w us so I took a pack and play and that literally took up all of the floor space.
Location was handy.
Small children (four or more) were in the hot tub, making it unusable for additional adults. No clean towels were available for the pool. We had been looking forward to a swim and a soak, but had to forgo those pleasures.
Quick and easy commute to Beloit College where I was taking my son to school. The beds were comfortable, and really liked the soft vs firm pillow options.
The juice machine was out both days we were there.
Bed and pillow was decent. Breakfast was good.
Very musty smelling rooms. Very damp feeling rooms. Hard to find employee at front desk. Seemed like they had to many other duties.
It looked a bit run down when we drove up, but the staff was very friendly and the rooms were OK. Our door wouldn't open at first, handle had to be pulled up.. sometimes it didn't work at all. ugh..
Convenient to Beloit area.
Staff was fine, but not overly friendly.
The evening manager was so helpful in addressing my concerns about the room that had been assigned.
I'm a big fan of the HIE chain, but this location is not up to their usual standards.
Easy to locate, quiet and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Room was extremely clean and well fitted.
It was quiet, we had a room right off the lobby and never heard any sounds from outside the room.
The nightstands were tiny, and would hotels just put a power strip on them. Not enough room for phone, glasses, drink and Kindle.
happy hour drinks and snacks.
I booked on Priceline using bid feature. I was travelling with my teenage daughter, so when I asked to switch a King to 2 doubles they upcharged me $10!! This has happened before at other places and no one else has ever added an upcharge.
I hoped for a proper bathtub. I was staying here while repairs were being completed on my house and had been looking forward to a long soak. I was given an 'accessible' room a roll-in shower only, no bathtub.
Easy to get to location. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants.
SMELLY, CRAMPED ROOM WITH ONE BED--WHEN WE NEEDED AT LEAST TWO
Front desk cerk who went out of her way to make a bad experience good.
When I booked hotel it was for a 2 bed queen. Got there and they said because I booked through another site that they didn't guarantee the room the way ti was stated. Therefore 6 people in two beds!
Hot tub and pool were big and nice.
They gave us a single queen room and wouldn't let us upgrade to 2 doubles because we booked through Priceline. My 6'8' buddy had to sleep on a horrible little fold out that we had to rearrange the room to get it to fit.
The staff was pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean. However, we did not get a good nights sleep. The beds were very uncomfortable. The pillows and bedding were not the typical high quality that we have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express. The air conditioning was very noisy. And the bathroom felt cramped. The room was more like a Red Roof Inn or a Motel 6 but at a higher price.
The young lady at the desk was helpful and polite. I arrived early and was allowed to check in. The room was a good deal for the money. If you need to have everything just perfect keep rolling.
We were very happy to find healthy snacks as well as soup and cold drinks in the afternoons. The room was very comfortable.
This hotel/motel gave the best customer service that I've ever stayed in. The staff was very friendly, and were knowledgeable about the area, very professional! If you were missing something or needed anything, they would have it or find it for you.
Their bedding is the most sweet smelling. Best sleep I ever get in a motel. Been here several times and I'll return. Lovely afternoon snack!
the rooms are alittle small but staff and accomodations they make are well worth the stay. great customer appreciation. happy hour was nice. public rooms very clean. even houskeeping took interest in our sta being perfect. very very nice stay we will use this hotel again for sure. very close to lots of handy stores and easy access to freeway.
