We were disappointed with the first room we were offered as it was not what we had booked (twin beds) and the room was very shabby, we asked to be moved and wewere moved to another room which was a little bit better. I made a complaint to the Duty Manager and I will be writing a letter
sorry as above
the evning meal and compant I went with
the rooms were too small, bed seemed very small - the accomodation was far too expensive for what you got, the rooms were tired - carpet thread bare!!! Bathroom had hiars in the sink, on the floor and in the bath - and an old smell
the hotel was bob on the pool and spa was the best the was excellent
it was good haveing a somkeing room
Hotel was clean and bright, room looked as though recently refurbished and was really nice.
Booked a twin room and was given a double room with a sofa bed and the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable - would have been better if two beds. The bar staff weren't too friendly when ordering drinks was made to feel it was a great effort for him - verged on being rude.
It was convenient in location (from the NEC), it was comortable - provided all we needed (we were upgraded to an exec room), we had a excellent continental breakfast delivered to our room (as we left very early) and the staff gave excellent service.
I think they lost our booking! So we were upgraded to an exec room (which was good) except it only had one double bed - which was OK but not great, as I was with my teenage daughter. They questioned whether breakfast was included - which it clearly was on our confirmation. When we went into the room the TV was on and their was an empty plastic glass on a chair so I wondered whether it was someone else's room! In the morning we only had one cup in the room for breakfast. All these problems were very efficiently and politely resolved by the staff.
the service in the restaurant
pleasant personal, cleaness room, good breakfast
shutlle bus from the airport to the hotel is after 4 pm
HOW COMFORTABLE I FELT
we were visiting the n e c so it was quite handy
due to building work it was very difficult to find a space to park on returning to the hotel at night
The bed covers were very nice
