The hotel staff was outstanding! I was extremely impressed with how professional, curtious and attentive they were. From the front desk to the cleaning lady in the halls. The staff made me feel like I was staying in a 5 star hotel.
Tv small and confusing.
Very nice Holiday Inn Express. Newer interior, clean.
Tried to call to confirm late check in and could get through busy switchboard at front desk.
Front desk staff
The pool was small and shared between the holiday Inn and comfort inn.
Needs updating, fitness room a joke
Comfortable SleepNumber bed, clean room
Dogs down the hall that barked for a few hours while I was trying to work
Clean, friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet.
Problem with a keycard entry door. Very frustrating.
The pool was outside
The look of the room and the bed.
Smaller than most hotel rooms and no continental breakfast.
Room was spacious. Decent shower. Quiet area.
Sleep number bed was frustratingly unadjustable. My side wouldn't stay firm enough - my husband's side was hard as a rock. Drink coupons for a free off-brand be beverage but no bartender in sight. Staff chatted loudly about TV throughout breakfast - ugh!
Close to campus. Clean. Nice Lobby. Staff nice. Great price for Bloomington.
The tv kept saying it wasn't getting reception. Couldn't watch tv. Staff didn't seem to have an answer or fix for it.
Location was great
Not sure what they were using to clean the lounge and breakfast area (vinegar?) but it smelled like a musty rag and the odor lingered the entire night and morning
Updated in all areas.
our room smelled a little like wet dog.
Price wasn't too bad for the room and service.
Due to being in a high traffic area, the fan needs to be able to stay on continuously. Would help cut down on traffic noise.
Room was very nice and roomy.
They didn't have our reservation and it took a while to check in.
Sports teams from area high schools stay here and cause late night noise.
Management and front desk unresponsive about teens midnight shrieking.
the location was perfect since it was close to Indiana University 's Assembly Hall where they were having the commencement exercise.
The rooms were a little bit too small.
It was clean and quiet. It had nice exercise rooms. Staff was congenial.
Yes, when I went to drop off my key, no one was in attendance at the desk. Several people were standing around waiting for someone. After about five minute, I just left my keys on the desk. If I had to wait for a printed receipt, I would have been upset.
Very nice hotel. Staff was nice and the room was clean and comfortable.
Location, staff was pleasant.
Room was not well planned. Sliding bathroom door did not provide privacy for person using it--and people in the room could hear everything going on in the bathroom! Closet door handle was broken as was the latch to the bathroom door.
Location to university
I think the regular price of hotel room is way overpriced.
weak internet old hotel not three and 1/2 stars poor breakfast small pool
Gave us free drink passes for the bar when our room wasn't ready.
Room was handicap oriented, weird, and not at all a 3star level. I would give it 1.5 star max. Beds were tiny. Floor was wet. Handheld shower connection leak sprayed everywhere.
I only saw one staff member in 2 days but she was courteous
The smell of mold from the ac. No one staffing the bar to get the free 2 drinks they offered.
service was slow, bathroom sink was plugged up, tv kept shutting off
The location is good and the staff on day shift was helpful. Pet friendly so we could bring our dog with us!
Our room was hot and after adjusting the thermostat it didn't cool down. We let the front desk know and a maintenance person who seemed to be lacking in repair skills, washed the filter out and turned the thermostat UP to 69 to 'cool' but to no avail.
Blood stains all over the floor, a slow sink that led to cleanliness problems, sheets with weird colors on them. This is a classic '3 star' (out of 5) stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was large, and the hotel was well located. But also dirty.
The front desk and room cleaning the staff.
Pool was covered with dead bugs. Room was clean but had residual cigarette smoke smell. The room key/s kept blanking out and we returned to the desk and four times to have them redone.
location and bar
no free breakfast
Very rude and un helpful. I left my shaving kit and they made no effort to return it to me even said they could not find it.
i loved this hotel. the sleep number beds were great; my first time. the rooms were so clean, spacious, and bright. my ONLY concern is that i question their claim to being wheelchair assessible. here is the situation from my pov: when we checked-in, we found out the elevators were assessible only by going outside, down a steep slope and into another entrance. i wouldn't even try going up the slope! the 5-6 steps in the lobby prevented inside movement from the lobby to the elevators. in the winter time, this could present a bigger problem than is was during our visit last weekend. i would suggest that the designation of 'wheelchair assessible' with information of the lobby steps clearly noted.
Sleep Number beds were uncomfortable and leaked air through the night. Noisy cleaning staff outside of the room in the morning. Good value for the money, convenient location, staff was very nice.
The first thing I said to my kids when we walked in was this hotel smells and lools like it's practiaclly new. It's a very nice hotel, very well kept about five minutes from IU stadium and a few more minutes from the main campus. Hallways, carpets were very clean. The room we stayed in was like new. Our room had one of those sleep comfort beds where you dial in mattress firmness. TV was a little small but I didn't go to Indiana to watch TV. In the morning we went down for breakfast. I thought the prices would be a bit higher than the Dennys a few doors down but nope, they were comparable. Nice service from the wait staff, good breakfast and reasonable prices. Also, unlike a hotel not far from this one, this hotel is non-smoking throughout. I noticed some others allow smoking on certain floors or parts of certain floors but this one is completely smoke free. I will stay here again.
Awesome value, great rooms, attentive staff. Definitely stay there again.
The room was clean. Wireless internet worked great. Location was close enough to the IU campus. Sleep number beds were fantastic. For me, it was just like home. Will definitely stay here again.
I usually stay at the Express, becuase I get priority club points. But now I get my points and eat dinner at the hotel. This place is great and it is closer.
