The location was close to the highway but not close enough for any noise so it was pretty quiet.
There was no elevator making it difficult to easily get all our luggage to the 3rd floor. It would have been nice had the hotel staff noticed we were from out of town and would have put us closer to the ground level since we were there for 4 nights.Overall it was a good stay. The hotel and room was clean considering the rural location. Had I known about the lack of elevator I probably would have stayed at the newer hotel down the road a half mile though.
a place to stay on a cold and snowy night
they need to improve communication between the evening shift and the opening shift. they had issues with us using the priceline system, dayshift had to be informed about priceline and our . the manager thought that we only checked in one party, not bothOn our next return to boone, iowa, we will not stop here. There is another site that will cost a couple of bucks more, but through experience has a more up to date enviornment and a better qualified staff
