The Marivaux is located in the business centre of Brussels, in a neighborhood rich of architectural heritage in the heart of the historical city at walking distance of the Grand Place. The Boulevard Adolphe Max was built at the end of the 19th century when the city centre was modernized and the course of the Senne River was changed. Since that time the river flows underneath the Boulevard Adolphe Max. This latter used to connect the city centre with the Gare du Nord, which was Belgiums most important railway station at the time. The hotel has no smoking policy.
