This location was offsite from the airport and did not have a shuttle service. The location itself is an auto garage and does not look like the typical budget rental car location. I still have not received my receipt that was supposed to be emailed after returning the vehicle so I’m reserving my full review until I know if I was unnecessarily billed for anything.Reviewed Apr 6 2024

Pros:PriceCons:Drop off time was less than 48hr rental agreement because location closed early on Sundays. Did not offer late drop off with drop box unless you pay an extra full day. Desk rep told me I couldn't use my own toll transponder or I would get charged twice and no way around that (never had this issue with other rental companies).Reviewed Nov 18 2019

Pros:We got a free upgrade so had a beautiful car with the awesome CarPlay feature so my google maps could be right in front of me. The guy at Budget was also extremely nice and made this super comfortable for us while we waited!Cons:can’t think of anything!Reviewed Mar 26 2019

Budget office at airport received no reservation Left stuck no carsCons:Had no reservation when I arrived at Sanford. Budget office said that that they received nothing from Kayak. Thanks to you guys, I was left stuck at the airport stranded. No other rental companies had any cars. worst possible scenario. Will never use your company again!Reviewed Nov 11 2018

Would think twice before renting from this particular locationPros:Nice car, ride was comfortableCons:Pick up location was not very reliable. Went to pick up car and the facility had closed before their actual listed closing time. Had to go thr next morning and the car was not there, so spent almost 20 minutes waiting for car to arrive. Pickup/Dropoff HeadachesPros:The cost was reasonable, and the car ran without issue. The agent, once he arrived, was friendly.Cons:When I went to pick up the car, the office door was locked. There was a sign in the window to let me know that the agent was out, and the national customer service phone number was written on it, but the "will return by" time was covered up so I had no idea if or when they were returning. Other customers and I waited outside in the heat for the agent to (hopefully) show up. By the time he did and had helped us all, it was over an hour after my scheduled pickup time. This resulted in me being late to the drop off site (in a different town) and they ended up being closed for the day by the time I arrived, and I was charged a late fee.Reviewed Aug 8 2017

Pros:Nothing!Cons:My pick up time was at 10am. I got there 9:45am. I was told my wait time for the guy was 15 mins, this was really an hour. The vehicles that I reserved was not at the site still after an hour wait. The amount due at pickup was not the amount that was due at pickup. I was quoted by this website $57.94. The guy told me $260.00 and then I still had to wait for the vehicle. So at 11:30am I left pissed the f*k off! I will NEVER EVER attempt to rent from this place EVER again!Reviewed May 3 2017
