Staff didn't listen and update reservation when I revised upon pickup. Further interactions were frustrating as staff also did not listen and update. The car was too small, outside was dirty, the wipers were old, and the wiper fluid hadn't been refilled. I won't use or recommend Budget again.

They are a budget rental company with the exception of price. Astronomical. I booked a luxury suv and was given a mini van. I went back in and they were nice enough to put me in a cheap suv. Do you think I was given a discount? Nope.
They didn’t have the car that I rented - it made my travels much more difficult.
Extremely long wait time to pick up the vehicle. Decided a day later that we wanted a larger vehicle, so we made a reservation online for a larger vehicle. Went back and waited in line for another two hours only to be told they didn’t have a vehicle
When I showed up a half hour after my rental time to pick up my rental car, they said there would be a half hour to 40 minute wait for my rental car. I said I had a reservation and the man at the counter gestured to a group of people (maybe 20) sitting on the side and said "so do all of these people and they have to wait for their cars too." He told me that the cars were on site but just needed to be cleaned. They wouldn't finish checking us in until our car was "ready" and said they would call us up to the desk at that time. Other than having to wait in a long line to get my car before, I've never been told that my car wasn't ready. I was lucky to not have to be anywhere right away which is different than other work trips.
