The car was really dirty at pick up. The front window had squished bugs all over it. I had to clean it when I got to my destination so I could see through it better. Almost took it through a car wash but decided why should I pay for that when your company should do it before delivering it to me. Also the inside was very dusting and the floors were not vacuumed. My spouse was really upset how dirty the car was. Never had that problem before. Otherwise the car was good and worked as well as expected. I understand the person at the Lakewood site for pickup was a one person show and I could not see if there was a way to clean the car, but you need to do something there to make sure the cars are cleaned before turning them over. Felt I had to pay a little too much for a dirty car.

I didn’t like that if you were one minute late from your drop off time, they charge you extra money and I also didn’t like that when I arrived to the counter earlier than my pick up time because my flight was a little early they were going to charge me extra money so I had to sit and wait until my pick up time to avoid extra charges. There should be some sort of buffer, plus or minus 1 hour before and after pick up or drop off with no extra charges

We went to pick up our car from Budget at the designated time. When we arrived, we were told that the phone number they were provided through the online registration portal was invalid. They then tried using that invalid number to call me "several times." Obviously they could not reach me with an invalid number. They did not try to contact me via my email address. They said that they had given away my rental and that they had no rental car to give me. So we got no rental vehicle from Budget. We have been trying to get reimbursed for the cost of the third party rental insurance we purchased from Budget, but Budget claims that the "car was not picked up" even though we tried to and Budget said they had no car to give us, so they are denying the reimbursement. Overall, we are incredibly disappointed with our rental experience with Budget and will not be renting from them in the future.

The location great but the staff was terrible one lady named Janet treated me so bad and was so loud giving me the information about car rental that the whole line people was listening my personal information from her was so rude you should check the personal that work for you because without customer you don't have business
