Confused customer with a final receipt that charged for fuel when the tank was full at drop off. According to Budget, that charge was erroneous put on the statement. Still pending whether this was charged or not in my credit card It is my observation that car rental companies frequently add unexpected local taxes, airport surcharges, port access fee that were completely hidden or explicitly excluded in original booking confirmations. I have made a good faith effort to resolve this issue with Budget via multiple emails but got nowhere I will therefore take this up with my credit card company to dispute the charge This will be the last time I will ever rent with Budget or any of the Avis group brands when I'm in the US

Very little communication while we were at the office to collect our car. Not informed of insurance costs, condition of car etc. we were instructed to collect our car from bay C20. When we went to that bay, there was no car there. We looked around for a while, before returning to the office to ask for assistance. Our consultant was no longer there, and all other sales consultants were with other customers. They told me they would be with me soon, but kept serving other customers, ignoring me. I returned to the car park after not being helped, to just wander around the car park until I found the car in E20. Service and attention to detail would have been appreciated.

When I returned the car last night, there was no one in the return area and no obvious instructions. I eventually found some in the main building who told me to leave the keys in the car. Poor service.
