Upon picking vehicle up, there was a terrible smell that we brought to their attention but when someone came out to smell for themselves they said they couldn't smell it. We drove the vehicle home and put baking soda on the carpet mats overnight. The next morning we vacuumed it out and the vehicle still smelled. We then discovered the back hatch door did not lift up but a third of the way and stopped. I called Budget and the lady told us the can exchange the vehicle out. So we packed up everything for the trip we had planned to change it over to the other vehicle. Once we arrived, we got keys for the next vehicle. My husband opened the hatch to pack it and it was filthy. It was never cleaned from previous renters. So I went in to tell them and a gentleman came out to take it in garage to vacuum it out. We told him about the hatch on the 1st vehicle and he knew. So why don't they tell you that when you're renting it??? Or.....fix it!! He did apologize. The lady at the counter was not very friendly like...said hi upon arrival but when things started going wrong, you felt like she was being bothered to help you. Not very apologetic or caring toward the situation. Better customer service would have been nice. Apparently the 2nd vehicle was picked up for us thru another Budget and they told them it was cleaned. Not sure who to blame in the situation but it put us back in leaving for our trip as we were to leave early morning. It turned out 3 hours later. When we returned the vehicle we were given a $50 credit, which was nice but we'll never rent from them again!!

Reservation was not honored. Your partner company Qeeq charged my card and didn’t provide any service. Budget claimed the reserves was not in their system. I had to pay them directly for the rental. Qeeq has yet to refund me. Based on my experience I would not recommend using your site.

Had a pretty horrendous experience with roadside assistance when my rental got a flat tire, had no spare, and had to be towed. Spent hours on the phone before I could get anyone to tell me where to go to get another rental car. Wasted an entire day of my rental cost. Horrible.

It was easy and simple. When you travel and everything gos well it is pleasant. Car was ready for us. Bigger and nicer. I ordered medium SUV, I got full size. We did have lot of space. It was great experience

The check in was amazing and fast. The car was a Nissan rogue. The car needed an oil change and kept sending warning messages that using the car without changing the oil could be hazardous. The car had no wiper fluid and that was a huge issue as we were driving through a dusty desert in Arizona.
