I purchased the additional insurance through your web site only to find out it wasn't very good in the USVI. I had to purchase an addition policy through Budget before they would give me the car. Overall kind of disappointing with your insurance option.

It was a terrible experience! The agent upgraded my reservation to the next level up, but the vehicle was already taken when I went to pick i at up! I went back to the desk and got another vehicle which was terrible! It was a death trap! The blinkers and blind spots did not work when I got on the road. They would glitch and not stay on. There was vibration across the SUV when doing 65 mph. The vehicle was a silver Jeep Cherokee. To top it all off, I had cash with me of over $200 which I forgot in the vehicle that was never refunded and supposedly never found. This is the worst experience I have ever hard, and a costly one!

I was charged for liability insurance though I had declined it when asked. Had to go back to the desk after dropping the car to get it removed. Was told I’d have to email the manager. Was very upset.

The female sales associate that served me when I picked up my car was excellent. A definite asset to your agency/company. I picked up my car at 9:30 pm on 4.16. She brought my car to the terminal from the lot and then took the time to sit with me in the car to explain how the GPS system connected to my car and various other features of the car, SHE WENT THE EXTRA MILE IN DOING HER JOB!! THANK YOU!!! I thought I was renting a RAV4, instead I was given a VW Atlas. Sad to say, I did not think to request a non-smoking vehicle. I have coronary artery disease and after I was a few miles from the airport, I realized that someone who previously rented this vehicle, smoked in the car. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Apart from the vehicle not being smoke free and really not clean. The rental experience was good only because of your female associate who served me.

The Pick-Up was an extremely poor experience. From the moment we got to the terminal and the woman outside demanded that only renters are allowed inside. Anyone else had to wait outside with the baggage. I waited in line for one hour, because there was only one agent working the Budget window. Eventually, a couple of other agents came out to help, but that was over 40 minutes into still waiting in line. The thing that really set me off was one agent, an older, white gentleman, after he came back from his break, made a joke “now helping #477“ Everyone in line looked at each other with bewilderment and I finally said something out loud, “we’ve been waiting in line for 45 minutes and you’re making jokes?“ It was completely inappropriate. You would think that on a Saturday afternoon in Maui, Budget would have staffed more appropriately for the level of business they were experiencing. I’m going to guess it’s this busy every Saturday at that time.
