Pros:The car had leather seats

Cons:I did not have the credit card on me that I prepaid for the reservation with even though I had my ID and plenty of other credit cards with my name. They told me my only option was to be treated as a walk up, completely rebook, pay a higher rate and go sort out any refund for my existing booking on my own. Worst customer service I have ever had from a rental car company. I called their online reservations got a full refund and took my dollars to enterprise where I was treated with respect. Will not use hertz again in madison, maybe anywhere.

Pros:Sorry but my experience was not good. I will not do business with Hertz again.
Cons:I reserved an SUV online and was given a Hyuandi Santa Fe. Got to the rental but the seat only went back a little. I'm 6'1 but couldn't fit in the front seat. I went back to tell the attendant and ask for another car or SUV but he was of no help. He didn't even look to see if there were anymore cars. The attendant seemed more interested in the book he was reading than trying to help me. I was willing to pay more money but after that encounter we just wanted to leave. It was incredibly frustrating especially after a long day of traveling. I ended having my coworker drive because I couldn't fit in the front seat. I don't mean to sound rude but this was by far the worst experience I've had renting a car and the customer service was poor.
