We stayed at this hotel travelling north through Idaho, and we liked it so much that although we had not planned on it, we stayed there again on our way back south. We booked 3 rooms each time, 6 rooms total. The rooms were well kept, comfortable, clean, and cool in the summer. The other people staying there were friendly without being intrusive, and we felt very safe. We loved the 24/7 pool and jacuzzi- just the thing after driving all day. After sitting in the jacuzzi, we slept super soundly, especially since the AC provided a nice white noise. The breakfast buffet doesn't change, but it has a nice range of cold and hot foods. We were travelling with a small dog, and the hotel was very welcoming to her. Some hotels reserve just one or two rooms as the "dog rooms," and they stink of dog, but the hotel rooms we had were clean smelling. Outside, there are a lot of quiet streets to walk your dog, although you should watch out for goat's head weed near the canal. Even at the last moment, Kayak provided us with about a 18% discount to the direct hotel price. I'd definitely recommend searching for this hotel with Kayak.com even as late as the day before arrival. There is a Burger King in the parking lot open late, and a 24 hour Dennys just across the freeway.
Really nothing negative about this hotel.
Facilities were great.
The staff. What is it about people who live in Idaho? Are they all that unhappy in their lives where outsiders who come on Idaho turf are looked at differently? Drop away from modern civilization, Idaho. Keep festering your supremacy-based value system and stay unhappy.
