The staff at check in was amazing! I don't know the 2 ladies names but they were there on Sunday the 9th around 11:30pm. They were super friendly and went above amd beyond to get additional sheets for my friend. Thanks ladies!
The cleaning staff definitely needs to up its game. I find an old chew cup in or room with dried up tobacco and the sheets had attains on them. Breakfast was ok but biscuits hard and not the greatest breakfast in general.
Room, elevator and halls smelled very badly of smoke...my room was a non-smoking room
AC had no knobs to control. Temp are fan speed
Very friendly and helpful
It was convenient and the service was good.
I stayed at the same hotel exactly one year ago and the rate was $10 less a night. I will be going back but may not stay there again as ohter hotels in the same place have lower rates.
Location, overall cleanliness ,staff helpful .
I didn't utilize what the amenities that was available. I will return one day when I have the time to do so. My trip was too short.
TV remote didn't work
ENVIRONMENT WAS COZY
Bed was great
Location and free breakfast.
Upon arriving in room I found someone's dirty sock, room was not very clean, dusty. Huge crack on tile of bathroom about 4' long. Staff had burned something in microwave setting of fire alarm. They put young people in next room who was up all night. Loud
Staff extremely helpful
be Bed needs to be replaced
Appearance of room.
clean, quiet & good customer service. Great price.
I liked the overall cleanliness of the entrance to my very nice room.
I think some of the guest were somewhat unrefined and greedy during breakfast.
pillow top mattress
A/C Cover fell off in middle of night. Scared me very badly!
Good location, but that is all. Will not recommend or stay there again.
The hotel was dirty. Our room was not clean, old fries and cheese its on floor. Very noisy - got no sleep. No one ever at counter, had to hunt them down. Will not go there ever again. My two children and their families had the same issues.
the hotel room and the lobby was clean. The manager and hotel clerk was really nice.
i felt the cleaning lady was pretty rude, that's about it.
Front desk staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, clean, and quiet.
Breakfast area needs a high chair. No crib/'pack n play' available, No adjoining rooms. Public restroom wasn't in great shape.
That this hotel is right in the town that I wanted to stay in. They front desk attendant allowed me to do an early check in which was great!
The hotel rooms are not fully clean. I was supposed to have had a refridgerator. There was no refridgrator. There was visible rust in bathrooms which was gross. I would not want to stay at that hotel again. There is an holiday in across the street.
they sold my room to someone else and said they were booked when I tried to check-in and they said it was pricelines fault. No one even told me they were sorry. I had to get a room somewhere else after I had already paid for a room at the La Quinta.
Room was large and had a recliner.
The breakfast was obviously trying to fit a many option style, but drinks and syrup watered and small quantities.
NO HOT WAATER AND WAS CHARGED AFTER PAYING ON PRICELINE
NOT A THING
NO HOT WATER FOR THE HOLE STAY AND THEY CHARGED MY CARD FOR AN EXTRA DAY
The hot water was not working when we checked in. We were told that it was being fixed, we still had no hot water when we left in the morning.
Decent motel room I dont know if I would classifie as 2.5 star
The beds were comfortable
The lampshades were falling apart, stains on curtains, the passageway between the floor to carpet was chipped could of cut your toe/foot. A female clerk carried on a phone conversation that was loud (phone person may have been deaf) but it was disruptive.
The beds were very comfortable. We were put into the ADA room, but didn't request it.
The overall construction of the hotel was shoddy. I think La Quinta would not approve. Breakfast was not great. Not enough employees around.
Clean room , breakfast and pool nice
Booked 2 queen beds , got King with sofa sleeper
The housekeeping staff does a good job.
Yes, the room was broken. Furniture was worn and had rips in chair. Recliner was broken and difficult to sit in. Something has been ripped off the wall, so was unsightly. I got the impression that this room would not be rented, unless at a discount.
Yes. The pool wasn't working and my kids were very disappointed. Also the lobby had a weird smell. Breakfast was bad.
That it was very clean.
Yes the manager and owner was extremely rude. They did not accommodate me at all or treat me like a guest. They didn't even conduct housekeeping for my room cause they said I checked in same day.
Price was good for this hotel.
Breakfast was poor quality with less selection than similar hotels. Hotel is not smoke free.
The room was neat and clean. The location directly off the interstate was easy to find.
clean, friendly, quiet, clean pool even in Oct.
I have stayed here twice both times in their cabins they list these cabins as rustic but I think they are a sgood and even better than some high priced Hotels I have stayed at.Quiet and peaceful close to everything. Defineitely a high rated experience
We Spent Our Honeymoon Here In The Early Seventies And Fell In Love With This Hotel & Its Grounds. While Relaxing On Our Balcony We Can See The Blue Ridge Parkway In The Distance. The Large Gift Shop Across From Hotel Is A Delightful Place To Spend Some Time And The Natural Bridge Area Is Always Wonderful. We Return Often To Renew Our Love For This Special Place.
Not sure what to expect in rural VA, but this hotel run by the owners of Natural Bridge was extremely convenient and very comfortable. Completely rebuilt in the early 60s in colonial style, it has all the amenities you'd expect. Sunday brunch was just slightly above mediocre, and check-in took forever.
