The Pergola House a mediterranean style mansion, with its elegant white marble floors and staircases, beautifully decorated bedrooms with bas relief stucco ceilings and a charming garden. This superb house has been owned by the same family for over a century and its beautiful facade, adorned with hand painted tiles, has been the delight of both amateur and professional photographers. The house is situated in the centre of Cascais, an eight hundred year old village of fishermen. It's balmy climate made it a favourite place for several dethroned kings to make their home. There are eight double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom. Some are twin (with or without balcony) and some double bedrooms. Guests are invited to use the lounge and the dining room. Trains leave every fifteen minutes for the half hour journey along the Tagus estuary to the city centre. The service continues until 2.00 am. The train station is two minutes walk from Casa da Pérgola.
