A historic five-storey former warehouse building has been handsomely made over as the Soho House Chicago, an industrial chic hotel in the burgeoning Fulton Market District. The hotel group’s first Midwest outpost reflects their signature London style and, of course, you’ll find Cowshed potions at every turn. The sprawling square footage allows for loads of s...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic, love the balcony. Thank you for a hotel chain finally realizing that not all people are 5 foot 8 inches tall, it was nice to be able to shower without having to squat to wash my hair, kudos for the adjustable shower heads.
Having to pay to park in the lot of the hotel i was already paying to stay in.
Service and staff and proximity to grocery stores.
Noise from Interstate.

Price and the staff.
Bathroom was a bit dirty. Stalls were oddly small in female bathroom. For budget travelers, this is hands-down the best stay in the very-expensive downtown Chicago area. My sister and I stayed in a private room, which was more than we needed for the evening. The shared bathroom was a bit dirty, with oddly small bathroom stalls. But it was nothing that we couldn't ignore. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. If you've ever stayed in a hostel overseas, this will be exactly as expected. A definite must for those who do not want to pay---- for a night downtown.
The staff was extremely friendly and even bought us a few rounds at the bar downstairs. It was in an very good location with great food located on every corner surrounding the building.
Our room was almost like a jail cell with 2 bunk beds and no ac. And there was no elevator so getting up to our room on the 3rd floor was a bit of a hike after spending all day at a music festival. Its a great deal if you are not looking for something crazy expensive and can handle a shared bathroom with everyone else on the floor

Overall, this is a great deal but you need to know what you're getting into. The price is generally below budget hotels in the area and you get a one bedroom apartment. You get a great apartment in downtown Chicago, with a grocery store and a fitness club on the same block. On the downside, there isn't ANY service, none. It isn't even easy to get the keys if you don't already know where to go. This is a DIY experience which is great if you're a DIY kind of person.

I called ahead to let them know my flight was coming in at 8am. They said it wouldn't be a problem and they'd note to have a room ready. I also asked for a baby crib and was told they have one ready. When we arrived at the hotel we were told it'd be a few hours until we could check in. After walking around for a few hours we returned and still had to wait. When we were finally able to head up to our room, with an exshausted baby, there wasn't a crib. I called the front desk and was told they'd send one up, 2 hours later they brought one. The room didn't have a mini fridge, which I thought was a normal amenity. So, I had to keep the baby's milk on ice- what a hassle. On a better note, the concierge service was awesome, holding doors, flagging taxi's, giving directions-they were great!
Not far from Wrigley Field, a $15 cab ride, close to downtown, and not far from I-90/94. Great prices for unlimited in/out valet parking. Fantastic value.
