Very generous in allowing late checkout.
Front desk staff seemed a little unprepared (undertrained).
The staff was great
The room was great and the beds were very comfortable!
It was a little further off our route but still worth the drive.
Everything, the staff was rude, I was given a smoking room that smelled like it was producing cigarettes and I wasn't told it was smoking until I got there and it wasn't changed
Sheets were clean
Everything smelled like smoke. Bad service. Breakfast was slow and expensive.
room is clean
too far away, stuff not helpful, nearly no food left before the breakfast time ends, check out time is too early, sound insulation is very very bad
Other than the price, this hotel was fantastic! The bed pillows were to die for and made us want to stay longer! Great breakfast in their restaurant, awesome decor, nice staff...would stay again!
The only thing we didn't like was the price. It was a race weekend so all the hotels went up on their prices.
Room was not clean. Smelled like smoje. Staff was not helpful. Breakfast took 45 minutes and was burnt.
I didn't like it
1) I had some bugs and I took pictures 2) the cleaning lady was rude 3) doesn't meet the standard of holiday inn
We needed a hotel at the convergence of I-95 and I-85. We were very pleased to find this hotel on Priceline, and pleased that they had availability. We were even more pleased to discover it was so clean and well run. We will stay again!
The continental breakfast buffet was fine, but the restaurant served a full breakfast. We did not see a menu with the prices listed, and we were curious about ordering a full breakfast. More menus should be out on the tables.
The staff was extremely friendly and did their best to take care of our issues.
The bugs and no maintenance or housekeeping on staff after certain hours.
The hotel had a problem with stink bugs. I did not notice the bugs until I was in bed. I did take the time to call the front desk. They did offer to move us to another room and also told us the stink bugs were bad because of the river behind the hotel.
The staff and the cleanliness
Elevators were sketchy
Nice hotel convenient to Colonial Heights and Richmond area...
The location to everything (ie. mall, Walmart, the highway, gas stations, and all of the local restaurants)
Not at all. I liked everything about it.
My keys didn't work twice and made me late for an appointment and they stuck me on a smoking floor after I called in advance and asked for a non-smoking room
location near hiway and shopping
old and shabby, did not offer coffee or breakfast and felt more like a 2 star hotel than a 3 star
Location was great and room is an average room that you could find in a comfort inn or any other 2 star hotel. This is not a 3 star hotel.
The toilet didnt want to flush in the middle of the night had to plunge myself. Sink was leaking, staff did not fix issue left note again with a towel on the floor. This hotel does not offer free breakfast that sucked. Hello whats going on with this....
It appeared to resemble a 3 star hotel, staff was friendly.
The appearance seemed to be a 'mask' over an older hotel. The room while looking nice, smelled like poop. The hotel itself seemed to have a 'poopy' kind of smell. Some glad plug in's might be in order. It was bad enough for me to fear naming my price.
Nice, newer property.
No sofa in king rooms or satellite (pay) TV.
Thought the Hampton Inn next door was nicer (we stayed there last year) and it included breakfast.
The staff was friendly.
Water leaked from the toilet onto the floor of the bathroom.
My new husband and I had our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception in March, 2009 at this Holiday Inn, and spent our wedding night in the hotel as well. I can't tell you how helpful, courteous, and overall wonderful the staff was. Not only was our rehearsal dinner great, but we received so many compliments from our guests about the reception, and stay upstairs was very satisfactory as well. I would recommend this hotel not just for vacation stays, but for formal functions as well--you won't be disappointed!
Met all my expectations and more, very conveniently located, staff went above and beyond, hotel was in line with many hotels charging much more. Great stay!
The room was very clean and luxurious. We stopped here by chance on a drive to NY. The bed was terrific, and the linie was high quality. I would definitley go back if ever I had a chance
