Extra fees for maid service, wifi, and the breakfast was a joke.
how close it was to Fort Jackson!
I *was* warned that they only clean the room once a week but....
Had to pay cash at last min and was told i would need to pay a extra 100. Had to cancel was not happy at all!
location was great
the only problem i had was my phone would not connect to there wifi but my phone dont connect on mc donalds wifi either. not there fault
Everything was fine
Loved the location near many shops, restaurants, and Fort Jackson.
Having to leave
The bed was sooooo comfortable. I got a gooood night sleep.
The door was off cabin and refrig was leaking had to put towel on floor. But overall the experience was good. Thanks
It was close to my place of business
Mold in refrigerator, actually was not working right the staff didn't help, no cook ware was available for me and my room had a kitchen
Cost/Price of room
Lounge chair was filthy, pillowcases were stained, carpet needs to be shampooed
The shower did not work
I could not take a shower
The location of how close to Fort Jackson was great, since that was the main reason I was there.
The carpet smelt like wet dog, the hotel wasn't very clean itself.
eveything...had change room 3 times ..initially given single bed..had reserved 2 dble beds, hotel switch it from single bed to room with 2 twin beds.1bed was covered in blood stains &room smelled & was filthy.3rd room no shower curtain & dirty
Super close to FT Jackson, Wal-Mart, restaurants, great price, comfortable mattresses, full size fridge, recliner. If you don't mind cleaning it yourself, go for it.
Dirty. I mean, I used half a can of Lysol and wipes to clean up the place. They just need a better cleaning staff. Don't stay here if you want a room that you don't have to clean first.
Very convenient to where we needed to be. Close to local super stores/food/highway. Room was spacious. Despite the fact that we needed to clean our own room, it was what we needed.
Poor internet connection. Room was very dirty (we brought our own disinfectant wipes). Breakfast was granola bars & bruised fruit. Did have clean fridge.
Old and run down, you can hear all the freeway traffic and all your neighbor's. No hot water for showers.
Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby, Also it is very close to Fort Jackson
Dirty, noisy, no amenities. My first experience with Extended Stay, was in Charlotte NC. I was very pleased with the motel, so when I needed a room in Columbia SC, and there was an Extended Stay near where I wanted to be, I was pleased. Bad choice
Easy and fast check in and out. the hotel staff was great. Very friendly! I went to watch my bf graduate from basic the location was 5 mins away which was perfect. Its a nice place to sleep.
Nothing they can really do about it but some of the hotels face the highway so all you hear are cars all night long.
It was a nice big room with fridge, microwave, and 2 stove burners. Big bathroom. Nice tv.
It was right off highway and pretty noisy. I also loved the convenience of being right off ft. Jackson. Room had no washcloths, dishes, pots or pans that the room said it would be fully stocked
It was quiet and spacious
The first room that I moved in had bed bugs
The staff is phenomenal.
told them there was no hot water in the first room they assigned us, and the staff was very accomodating and moved us, but there was none in the second room either.
House keeping didn't come , the refridgerator had a bad smell.
The front desk lady; very sweet & friendly!
Everything else. The room was filthy & there was an inch crack at the bottom of the door, so you could see straight out. It was musty & the bed linens/towels smelled of old socks. It had not been dusted or cleaned in months & it was dark & grungy, YUCK!
The area was great. Quiet other than the interstate.
Smoke smell. Smelled like an ashtray.
Good price for room with kitchenette. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Inattention to details. Only three pillows on bed. We both need two. No face clothes for shower. Had to use hand towel to soap up. And, would have called office to get these... But the room phone wasn't working!
the fact that then tv did not work, blinds were just hanging , My daughter visited at the hotel and left with bed bugs.
nothing this stay
they are no longer having pot or pans available but that's what they advertise. was told by staff to purchase my own pots and pans
In a safe are compared to other local hotels I have stood in
NO DISHES POTS NOTHING AT ALL IN THE KITCHEN!!!!! The shower was either HOT or COLD.......no in between.
The cleanliness was very disappointing.
When I got there I was not informed that they did not clean room unless your stay is longer than 4nites.
Attitudes, about asking questions and finding out information.
My room was filthy and there were bugs in my bed. The pictures online are the furthest thing from what the rooms actually look like! This was by far my worst stay in a hotel. They did switch me to another room but it was just as bad as the first one!
Having stayed in the Extended Stay on Stoneridge as well, I found this one to be the better of the two. Better overall condition, better smell, but smaller room.
I don't like the Extended Stay new policy of having to ask for kitchen utensils. They're no longer provided automatically. The shower didn't have enough space for shampoo bottles.
Roaches flying around in room. Old towels and lack of cleaning supplies for dishes. Other room noise. Poor breakfast.
The Bed..having clean sheets..Air Conditioning..Quietness..The Coffee..Having Accessories to cook. Home cook meal away from home,Full size refrigerator. fresh clean towels, also its location
traces of animal hair in bathroom, Gaps around the Door, the outer light comes in..tv has limit channels..
When checked in, the original room given to us by the staff was uncleaned--the bed was unmade, pillows on bed had excessive makeup leftover on them, bathroom was uncleaned with towels in floor and urine in toilet. Tried to get moved to another hotel.
The bed was fairly comfortable. The staff was very courteous. The room seemed to be clean. Parking was Ok.
No inside door lock nor pee-chain/latch. Door barely closed & not secure/you could see outside door edges/afraid to sleep soundly. Only handtowel, one soap & used toilet tissue still on roll. GPS bought me to area, but still had to ask how to find inn.
Stayed here to watch the graduation at Fort jackson. My group needed two beds but unfortunately they only had rooms with Queen size beds left and no roll out beds. And we did not want to purchase a whole other hotel room. The staff apologized and gave us extra blankets and pillows. The grab and go breakfast was small but convenient.
The location was great. Ideal for Fort Jackson.
Kim the manager in training personality, was nothing short of what a female dog is. The customer service was despicable. My room... that the room has a hard bed and you can easily hear your neighbors have a great time through the walls.
I had roaches in my room!!
just the pest that were crawling around!!
The staff was very helpful.
The room was not what I expected even from an extended stay. There was no toilet paper or wash cloths in the room at all. There was also a half gallon of milk in the refrigerator from pervious guest. Not at all what I expected.
spent over hour looking for hotel, gps put us in shopping center saying reached destination, hotel behind and couldn't be seen, I called at least 4-5 times no answer after ringing 3min each time, also told no more double room, hotel full but half empty
The room was not clean. The bed not made. The tub not clean. The chair soiled.
Bed clothing was very poor! The room smelled so bad, like smoking cigarette.
Filthy rooms and very poor maintenance. Stained bathroom fixtures, stained carpets, peeling wall covers, dingy sheets, worn towels, cobwebs all over. Must have been dogs there, as we were awakened by barking very close by. Walls must be thin as paper, as we could hear other people talking all night. We decided this must be a 'hot sheet' joint.
Don't stay at this hotel. The rooms are dirty and ours had ants. I had to buy cleaner to be able to take a shower. We left some property in our room after we had checked out and was told the maid took it home and she might bring it back if we could have someone pick it up. We were completely appauled that this policy of theft holds up with their corporate office too. If you stay at any extended stay america make sure you don't leave anything in your room, you be basically leaving gifts for the maids.
Rooms not clean, spider webs everywhere. Too many loud dogs. Thin walls. Friends found a previous guest's ladies panties under bed. Leaky faucet dripped all night. Poor maintenance of facility.
