As a warm and friendly, privately-owned hotel, the Selandia offers great value for money, an excellent location and good service. It is a traditional, red brick building with uniformed rectangular and arched windows and very typical of Copenhagen. It is a small, intimate hotel, located in the heart of Copenhagen, adjacent to the central station. The area the hotel is situated in has in recent years undergone considerable regeneration and is now a trendy district in which to live with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. The location makes it convenient to most of Copenhagen's major attractions, including Tivoli gardens, the longest Pedestrainised shopping street in Europe - Stoget, cinemas, restaurants and the direct airport train link at central station.
