Driving from Chicago to SC and needed a place to stop to sleep for the night. This hotel got the job done. The front desk woman was super nice. Room was clean.
Nice Clean quiet, staff nice , very comfortable. fresh in and out! I recently moved to Mississippi from Pennsylvania and this is about half way in the16-18 hour drive so I stayed here as it was nice, clean, quiet and comfy! anytime I go home I will stay here!
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express - Dandridge while returning from a day trip to Knoxville. We checked-in late (~9 PM) and the desk clerk was extremely helpful and personable. Beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was just right before hitting the road again. I would definitely stay here again!
We normally stay at Holiday Inns whenever we travel, and we've only had 1 other bad experience. This particular H.I. put us in a room that was literally in the main vending area. It was the only room in the entire area & reminded me of being stuffed into a dirty janitor's closet. The room was small, hot/stuffy - The A/C did not work. I brought it to the attention of the front desk who offered a fan, but even that would not have helped. There was a large spider on the wall beside the bed which frightened my 7 yr old. After having to complain about these arrangements, the staff did eventually put us in a 'hadicapped' room which was still not that great. This hotel is old, run down and not appealing at all. If you're travelling to this area - pick another hotel.
This hotel appears to be brand new. The lobby is well kept and smells wonderful. The breakfast selection is out of this world. And the rate is very reasonable. We will most definately stay at this hotel again when we are back in the area.
This hotel is fully renovated and full of great amenities. The staff is exceptional, always ready to help and give advice on where to eat or shop. The check in experience was outstanding, it was like I was an old friend in for a visit. They certianly have Southern Hospitality down. There is no doubt that I would return to this Holiday Inn Express when traveling back through the area.
This hotel is fully remolded, with great amenities. The staff is very friendly and quick to help in finding a meal or just giving directions. The manager is always present to answer questions or handle any issues that should arise. The breakfast is all it is described to be and more. This place is great.
This hotel is conveniently located right off exit. The staff is very friendly and greeted me at the door. I called ahead to let them know I was coming in late and I felt as if they knew me personally! The rooms are very nice sized, clean and newly furnished. The nights stay was very peaceful and the morning paper at the door was a nice touch. The breakfast is unreal. Hot food with waffles, gravy, sausage and the best Cinnamon rolls I have ever had. Express check out service was awesome and I definitely will stay again if in the area.
because of bad past reviews. The rennovations were complete and the staff was great. None of the problems stated in the past reviews. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was great with hot foods daily. The owner was present throughout the day and the bedding was very nice. Rooms were clean and any requests were seen to in a very prompt manner. One of our relatives had a problem withtheir rate - but it appeared to be the holiday inn corporate online that sent the wrong rate information - none of the other 12 of us had any issues whatsoever.
We paid extra for suite w/ fireplace, jacuzzi, private balcony & full size couch w/pull out queen bed. Dirty,unclean...hair in bathtub, hair swept in corner of bathrm-behind door. Coffee pot had 1/2 inch of old coffee w/MOLD growing on top. \nRoom had only been spot vacumed-corners & areas between bed & nightstands were dusty, paper pieces & a TOE-NAIL!!! Pull out bed was broken-front desk did nothing about it. \nOur one night stay was such a nightmare that we took pictures because everything that went wrong was unbelievable. I brought the coffee pot to front desk-no apology. They said they'd bring up another. 2nd pot was broken, 3rd pot was dirty w/USED COFFEE FILTER in it. Finally the 4th coffee pot was ok (this was at 1:30 am). Never did the girl who brought up the 3 additional pots apologize. I don't think the word 'SORRY' is in their vocabulary. \nAt check-out, the manager refused to refund any money. I argued w/ her, pointing out their 'Hospitality Promise' but I don't think she knew about that! Only when I called the HI Guest Services number did she offer me a refund-keeping $*. \nThe rest of our trip was NOT at HI Exp. \nI wish I had read the previous 2 reviews prior to our stay, I would have avoided an experience I never thought could happen. \nSleeping in our car w/ our children would have been 100% better than this dirty place
The staff of the hotel was very nice and informative. They were all very eager to help all the guest. Even though the hotel is undergoing renovations the rooms were very comfortable.
At the time of our stay, the hotel is advertised to have the 'new bedding collection' however, their bedding is very outdated. In process of renovating and VERY noisy wich you don't find out about till check in. Shower didn't drain and reported it but never fixed! Stay elsewhere.
We stayed at this hotel and the billboard on the way in to town says this hotel has new linens-it does not, has old outdated bedding. Beds were outdated and room doors banged/rattled all night. In process of being remodeled! Not enough towels for # of occupants on either night. Problems with bathroom drains reported that were not resolved nor did they care about my dissatisfaction on checkout-drains clogged. Not up to par with other HIE's we have stayed at.'
